NEON LIGHTS - Mi-Ny - Fluo Green + scotch tape + fimo

ENG: here we are with a new one-shot twinsie post created by Gold Francine from the blog The Beauty Case. This time main theme is NEON, and I', going to show you a scotch tape manicure with "mummy style", realized with a green neon shade and lime fimo slices. I made this nail art for a recent Mi-Ny Cosmetics contest on their facebook page called Summer Nail Art: I won that contest (yaaaaaay! :D) and I hope to write as soon as possible a review for the 3 items I received as prize. ITA: eccoci con un nuovo appuntamento di gruppo one-shot organizzato da Gold Francine di The Beauty Case. Stavolta il tema è il NEON, e io vi mostro una manicure che ho realizzato per il concorso Summer Nail Art indetto dalla Mi-Ny Cosmetics poco tempo fa sulla loro pagina facebook, concorso che ho anche vinto (yeeeee! :D). Spero di recensirvi presto i 3 prodotti make-up che ho ricevuto come premio, ma, ora come ora, fa davvero troppo caldo e non ja fo. Anzi, la finisco con le chiacchiere e vi lascio alla  mia scotch tape in stile mummy, realizzata con un colore neon verde e arricchita da fettine di lime in fimo. MI-NY - BE FLUO - 04 FLUO GREEN

ENG: this is a wonderful green neon!!! This finish has a few typical details that are hard to manage during application: infact most of neons/fluos nail polishes has a simil jelly base, very liquid but still sticky, and they are not much opaque. For these reasons you'll absolutely need of a white creamy/lacquered base to make them opaque, to emphasize the intensity of colors, and to get an easier application; just pay attention to wait enough time from coat to coat, to avoid empty areas. The neon/fluo finish has also a "classic version" about formulation, creamy and with a better coverage, but still quite thick; thank God there are very good exceptions, like the Orly - Feel the Vibe collection. Anyway, this finish is a challenge most of times, but how can you resist to it, especially in the summer? *__*

ITA: un bellissimo neon verde!!! Le caratteristiche tipiche di questo finish, però, lo rendono di difficile gestione: buona parte degli smalti neon/fluo hanno una base simil jelly molto liquida, ma comunque vischiosa quando la si stende, e sono anche estremamente traslucidi. La soluzione indispensabile (non è un'opzione!) è utilizzare sotto una base cremosa/laccata bianca: per renderli coprenti, per enfatizzarne l'intensità del colore, e per facilitarne la stesura, attendendo sempre quanto basta prima di ogni nuovo strato, perchè, se non è asciutto del tutto, trascinereste dietro il colore creando aree vuote. Non sono molti i prodotti di questo genere con una formulazione "classica", più cremosa e coprente, e anche quelli spesso non sono facilissimi da applicare: grazie a Dio le eccezioni non mancano, come la collezione Orly - Feel the Vibe. Insomma, il finish neon/fluo non è quasi mai comodo e facile, eppure, soprattutto d'estate, difficile resistere loro. *__*
