What I bought:

1) Studio Kabuki Brush - it works very well but it's lost a lot of hair, but just the first time I've used it, so I think we'll be good friends for the future

2) Mineral Foundation in Light - after 3 days it seems a great product, my skin thanks a lot

3) Mineral Eyeshadow Primer - velvety and delicate: very good!

4) Studio Complete Coverage Concealer in Medium - 3 of 4 colors are too similar to each others and they are not very covering, but it works very well over no-serious imperfections. It's easier to work with if you use your fingers, but the brush in the palette is a very good brush for other uses. I need more time before a fair judgement

My Mystery Box:

1) Mineral Bamboo Powder Brush - oh wow... so soft... I want to push my cheek all the day with it *_*

2) Nail Polish in Twinkle - a glitter multicolor top coat with delicate colors

3) & 4) Shimmer Eyeliner Pencil in Boldly Bronzed - yes, I received 2 of them! XD by the way, no problems at all: I'll swap the second one with a friend of mine or it'll be a gift, because it's a very pretty shade. I think it's better as pencil eye than eyeliner, because it's easy to work with

How I could resist in front of a big basket full of polishes mixed together as a peanut exhibitor at the supermarket with a sign 1x€1.50 or 3x€3.00? Am I crazy? Yes, I know... But not for this reason... Soooo I dipped my hands into it as a little girl with a basket of candies and I bought these 5 polishes for me and few more for my friends. Surprise: they are B4F and no bad at all! Search for a store near to you on the "Sirene Blu" official site. I don't know another chain of stores when I could find them, sorry.

Next 2 polishes are a gift from my cousin, who can't resist to cute bottles! :D The first one has a design surely inspired from the British brand Ciaté and the second one reminds to the limited editions of the German brand Catrice. By the way, 2 very preeeetty polishes! Thank you Baby! <3

Next couple of polishes were sent to me by one of my polish-buddies, Daniela! ;D 

- China Glaze - Ghoulish Glow: this is a gift from my friend, who knew about my passion for it. I wore it few days ago and my cat has played with my hands for hours (in the night, of course!!!) XD I'm thinking about painting some xmas decoration with it, what do you think about it? ;D

- A-England - Camelot: me and my friend took advantage by a promotion and I bought this black cream. I think cremes are very hard to choose. Glitters, holos, duochromes, etc... They are gorgeous but their special effect can easily hides lacks of formula: cremes have to be perfect or the result on your nails will be a disaster, so I'm always very careful about which creme to buy and which don't: bases are important, ever, for every things in your life. This one is amazing, the perfect black base. Adviced! ;D

MISSHA + ETUDE HOUSE

Next bunch of polishes are not mine: I bought from a very kind Korean eBay seller, Ruby Ruby Shop, who has a lovely catalogue of make-ups, stationery, jewelry, wall decals, skincare items and nail polishes, for a fair price and free shipping. I was searching for a wall sticker for my entrance and some cheap ideas for xmas gifts, then I discovered she also had polishes, and Daniela e Barbara bought a few of them, so, this is the reason I have them to my place even they aren't mines. I'll swatch them on false tips before they will go to their real owners, so they will be useful for future comparisons. ;)

- Missha - HGR01: amazing, isn't it? I'm speechless since the first time I've seen it, and I'm still with no words any time I look at it. I think it's pretty close to new Model's Own - Beetlejuice Collection - Golden Green, don't you think?

I can't wait to show you my new polish database!

Since I would improve my mani skills, and my health prevents me from finding a new job, yet, and I have a lot of free time and a lot of polishes to use and a lot of ideas to bring into reality... Why not? This database will be very useful right now: I absolutely can't go to these ladies's houses with an entire helmer!
Moreover, I would use all these samples for some comparisons in the blog.

How I realized all this? I bought a bunch of transparent false tips (size 3) on Nail Design Euro Discount; a lot of ice-cream sticks (lenght 11 cm more or less) from  La Bottega delle Meraviglie di Eli on eBay; a tube of glue for model-making by Bostik, and... Tadaaaaaaan! I'm happy! ;D
P.S. I think my english language is worse than usual in this post, but I wrote it without thinking, I was too proud to have finished all of them and I wanted to post about it as soon as I could! ;D

Zoya - Faye + Vampy Varnish "Share Yourself #1" event

I wore this polish the 10th of august, but I had to wait before posting about it, why? Because I attended a new amazing idea launched by Kelly of Vampy Varnish blog. This contest/event/both will present any month  few bloggers with a selection of 1 or 2 images (unpublished before), sent to Kelly by mail. She will consider all entries received and she will show some of them in her blog after the 20th of any month. The great idea is called Share Yourself and you can find the rules here.
What all this has to do with me and the Zoya polish swatched? Well... I submitted to Share Yourself and I had to wait until the entry with results was posted, because those images had to never seen before in the web. Anyway, Kelly choose my photos and I was in the Share Yourself vol. 1 selection!!! YAY!!!!! I know this isn't a big deal in the life, I know I'm not a little girl anymore, but... I have to admit it: I was really excited to see my pics in her blog for many reasons I can't explain because I'm an extroverted person, but I'm very bad about thanks, compliments and this kind of stuff... I'm bad to receiving them, too! Just... Thank you to Kelly, she made my day, my week and maybe she made my entire month, this is my best way to express my joy with this media. If I knew her in everyday life, she could see my happiness by my 856 teeth smile in this moment. Thank you. Again. ;D

Then... The polish swatched hereunder! I received this polish for my bday as gift: Daniela made me this cute surprise and, although I'm not into pinks (pink is my cryptonite!!! D: ), this one is amazing, anyway, and I'm sooooo happy to own it and I'm sooooo grateful to Dany for this wonderful gift! ^___^

● ZOYA - FAYE

This polish has many faces: it's pink in the sunlight (but a tolerable pink LOL) and it's almost copper in the evenings and it's a mix of both indoor, and it's beautiful anytime. Moreover it looks like a suede in the shadow and sparkles a lot under the light and and... And it's simply beautiful. Did I already mentioned the gold flakes? No? There are. And they are beautiful, of course. You (yes, YOU!) need this polish, I know it!!! :D

A NEW LAYOUT. A NEW START. :)

Finally I decided to improve the previous anonymous design of my blog, and I choose this template, then I modified a lot of details and customized as much as I could. 3 days of hard work fighting with CSS! ;)

Some infos about this new aspect:

● BLOG TITLE: finally my blog has a brand new name: Polishically Uncorrect \(^_^)/ 

● SMALL LAYOUT: since I'm multitasking when I work on pc (usually I post/read/surf and watch a movie at the same time :P), I preferred to choose a small layout with everything displayed on the left of the screen, so I/you can keep other windows open on the right, expecially if I/you have a netbook with a smaller than 12" monitor, in this way you won't have to scroll orizontally to see everything

● TEMPLATE COLORS: colors are neutral, so polishes colors will match with no problems of optical illusions or chromatic chaos

● DROPDOWN MENUS FOR LABELS: on the right you'll find more labels dropdown menus: one with all labels and the others divided by a few categories: brand, color, finish, technique, various... So you can direct your search in a better and easier and faster way. A note: finish menu is a bit easy, for example "metallic" is for metallic finish, and foil, and gunmetal, and similar... I'm not so good about finishes, so I preferred to create a short and simple division

● PAGES MENU: the blogger platform allows to create singular static pages, you'll find the option in the menu at the top and also at the bottom of the main page, so you won't to scroll a lot to go up again

● IMAGE GALLERY: the blog contains a page with an image gallery with ALL pics contained in this blog, for people who have no time to read everything post by post. There are a slideshow and also a link to thumbnails collection

● BLOGROLL: the list with my favorite blogs is on a dedicated page

● SWAP: this is not ready, yet, I'll write both wishlist and polishes I can swap or CP

● BILINGUAL ITEMS: buttons and similar are bilingual: English and Italian. Why I need it in this way it's complicated to explain. I hope in the future I'll be able to write bilingual entries, if I'll have enough will

● ANYTHING ELSE? I don't know, I'm pretty tired after this hard work and I'm surely forgetting about a lot of things... ;P

I'm ready to continue this funny adventure with my casual attitude.
My motto for my blog is: when I can, how I know, what I want!

But with a lot of  me.

First post: HANDS ON!

Ok. I'm going to try to post photos of my manis, but I have to tell you some important things in advance:

1) My english is very bad!

2) I'm just a fan of  fun, so I could don't know a lot of technical things and bla bla bla

3) I post randomly: since this is just a hobby, I'll post and comment and everything totally random

4) I often use photoshop, because sometimes I eat my cuticle and/or there are tiny cat hair and/or my hands suffer from bricolage and origami

5) Have mercy! :D
