Liquid Sky Lacquer - Easter Morning + Zoya - Minka

Cosa abbiamo oggi? Uno smalto Liquid Sky Lacquer che mi è stato regalato dalla mia smaltamica (e non solo smalta, ma soprattutto amica!) Daniela. Messo da solo era un po' troppo sheer, così ho fatto un layering con una base nude, cosa che, oltre ad aiutare la coprenza, ha anche esaltato un po' il colore molto tenue dello smalto e il suo effetto microglitter. Ah! Sarà un post solo in italiano oggi. C'ho sonno. Ah! Lo sticker mi pare fosse della Essence. Mi pare. Ve l'ho detto che c'ho sonno.

LIQUID SKY LACQUER - EASTER MORNING

Sono un po' fuori allenamento con la descrizione di colori e finish degli smalti, quindi arranco e abbiate pazienza e clemenza nel caso dicessi castronate. Allora... E' uno smalto microglitter dai riflessi dorati e, sotto luci intense, anche opalescenti, mentre il colore di base è un oro pallidissimo leggermente verde menta. Poco coprente, necessiterebbe di tre passate ed un'asciugatura un po' lunga, ma si può ovviare con una base colorata sotto: io ho scelto un nude, ma ci starebbe bene anche un bianco o un menta chiarissimo, forse anche un giallo pastello chiarissimo sarebbe adatto... Comunque, alla fine, molto bello e raffinato come smalto, l'ho messo la scorsa primavera, con le prime giornate di sole. ^_^

ZOYA - MINKA

Che dire? E' il mio solito smalto che uso come base nude/naturale per gli smalti poco coprenti. E' un beige rosato chiaro con un lievissimo effetto perlato, appena accennato. Con il tempo si è leggermente densificato, ma fa ancora il suo porchissimo lavoro.

casa e fare altri lavori: avrò una decina di giorni un tantinello caotici. Ciau!

Mi-Ny - Lucidalabbra Extraglossy - 10 Gold Star

ENG: this is the second (of 3) post to reviewing the three items I received as Jury prize in the "Summer Nail Art" contest from Mi-Ny Cosmetics on their facebook page. This was the awarded nail art and these were the amazing prizes I received for it. ^__^

ITA: questo è il secondo (di 3) post che dedico alla recensione di un prodotto Mi-Ny Cosmetics ricevuto come Premio Giuria al concorso "Summer Nail Art" sulla loro pagina  facebook. Questa è stata la nail art premiata e questi sono i tre premi che ho ricevuto per merito suo. ^__^

ENG: product overview / ITA: panoramica del prodotto

ENG: I must to admit that I wasn't so sure about this item as soon as I received the prize parcel from Mi-Ny, because I could only ask to myself: seriously, when and how and why I could use this stuff? A golden glitter lipgloss? No way! I can't! A few months were passed by and now I can say this is my favorite of all prizes I received. Absolutely. Why? 
First of all the clear base is not so packed with golden glitters as it seems at a first glance, more the glitters are not so big to being very evident on lips; I could even dare to say that this gloss has some kind of discretion, or it has until a ray of light meet it, at least. In that case the glitters bright with no shame, but your lips will still be watchable with no protective measures. I think this gloss is perfect alone to enlight your lips, or also on a lipstick for a final touch. There's another thing I was a lot surprised for: it lasts long! But really much!!! Maybe I'm just lucky, maybe not, but whatever, this gloss keeps on my lips even after eating very often. A gloss. Incredible. Last, but absolutely not least, the packaging: it's practical (I always prefer squared packaging, since it's better to storage), high quality plastic (that doesn't get dirty easily, nor scratches nor breaks!), there's a mirror (a mirror!) and... A little light that lights up as soon as you unscrew the cap. A little light! A little light!!! There's a 3 years old baby inside of me who's rejoicing any time I use this gloss! XD

Conclusions? I'm aware that this lipgloss is not very cheap, it costs €13,90 (three euros more than the other items from the same collection!) but I still think it deserves a chance, a real chance! ^__^

ENG: packaging details / ITA: dettagli della confezione

ITA: confesso che, quando ho ricevuto il pacchetto dalla Mi-Ny, questo prodotto mi ha lasciata un po' perplessa e mi chiedevo soltanto: ma quando cacchio me la metto una cosa del genere? Un gloss fatto di glitter dorati? Ossantissimocielononcelapossofare! A distanza di qualche mese, invece, posso dire che questo è stato, al contrario, il premio che uso di più e che mi ha soddisfatta di più. Perchè?
Innanzitutto i glitter dorati non sono molto fitti in quantità e neanche così grandi da risultare particolarmente evidenti su labbra, anzi, potrei perfino azzardarmi a dire che hanno una loro discrezione, perlomeno fino a quando non incrociano un raggio di luce e allora sbrilluccicano indegnamente, ma senza comunque far diventare la vostra bocca inguardabile senza occhiali protettivi. Io lo trovo ottimo sia da solo per illuminare le labbra, sia sopra un rossetto per dargli quel luminoso tocco in più. Un'altra cosa che mi ha sorpresa in positivo è il fatto che dura tantissimo! Ma proprio tanto!!! Ora... Non so se sono io fortunata, perchè di certo non ci sto attenta e quindi non mi prendo alcun merito, ma spesso resiste anche ai pasti. Un gloss. Incredibbole. Parliamo infine del packaging: confezione pratica (io adoro sempre le confezioni di forme squadrate perchè si riordinano meglio), plastica di alta qualità (che non si sporca, non si graffia, nè si rompe facilmente!), specchietto (lo specchietto!) e... Lucina che si attiva appena si svita il tappo. Lucina! Una lucina!!! La bimba di 3 anni che è in me fa la ola quando inforca questo gloss! XD
Conclusione? Non è economicissimo, lo so, costa €13,90 (tre euro in più degli altri della stessa collezione!), ma un pensierino, a mio parere, lo merita! ^__^

Mi-Ny - Sugar Chic - 5 Gold Caramel

ENG: some time ago I joined the "Summer Nail Art" contest from Mi-Ny Cosmetics on their facebook page. I won the Jury Prize and I received three items that I've already shown to you in this post. This is the first post to reviewing them, since I'm using all of them with great satisfaction. *__* 

ITA: tempo fa ho partecipato al concorso "Summer Nail Art" indetto dalla Mi-Ny Cosmetics sulla loro pagina facebook, di cui ho vinto il Premio Giuria, e di cui ho già postato una preview dei premi ricevuti in questo post. Finalmente comincio a recensirveli, visto che li sto usando tutti e con grandi soddisfazioni. *__* 

MI-NY - SUGAR CHIC - 5 GOLD CARAMEL

ENG: first of all, I must to say that this nail polish is even more beautiful than in these pics: in real life it has a kind of tidy and fine look, so I think that Sugar Chic is the perfect name for this collection. Plus it has a very classy detail: there are a few medium size silver glitters into a cold and pale golden base. It's beautiful both in tanned and pale complexions, both in rosey and beigey skintones: a passepartout for every skintype. Application is manageable and precise, drying is average, and duration excellent. Advised for sure!

ITA: che dire di questo smalto? Innanzitutto che in foto non rende la metà di quanto sia bello in realtà: dal vero l'aspetto dato dal finish è molto ordinato e raffinato e penso che il nome della collezione, Sugar Chic, sia assolutamente azzeccato; in più i glitter argentati di media dimensione che ci sono nella base oro pallido e freddo dà un ulteriore tocco di eleganza. Bellissimo sia con l'abbronzatura che su carnagioni chiare, sta bene sia su sottotoni rosati che caldi, un vero passepartout per tutti i fototipi. Infine l'applicazione è agevole e precisa, l'asciugatura media, la durata eccellente. Consigliatissimo!

L'Oreal - 624 Island in the Sun + Zoya - Minka

ENG: I hardly pay attention to display of "most popular" brands, but, this time, in front of l'oreal... *BLING* What is that skyblue/gold adoooorable thing that is smirking to me? What's? What's? "How pretty are you, little baby? Would you want a new home, sweetie? Come, come to me, my love, you'll never be alone and dusty". Yes... This is what I usually think as soon as I fall in love with a polish... ^__^;

ITA: difficilmente mi tengo aggiornata o spulcio gli stand delle marche "più popolari", ma, passando davanti a quello della L'Oreal, stavolta... *BLING* Cos'è quella cosa azzurro/doratina che mi fa l'occhiolino? Cose'è? Cos'è? "Ma quanto sei carino piccino, la vuoi una casina nuova? Vieni, vieni amore, non sarai più solo e impolverato". Sì, questo è quello che penso io di solito quando mi innamoro di uno smaltino... ^__^;

L'OREAL - MISS POP - 624 ISLAND IN THE SUN

ENG: beautiful. I don't want to waste useless words but BEAUTIFUL. I've seen a few swatches online, and it's been always applied alone, but actually I think it's better using it over a base. In the pic below you can see 3 experiments: over a black creme base, a pearly white one, and a cream/beige shade (the one I've chosen for this post). Last two pics show you how the duochrome effect changes over a blue base. A+

ITA: bellissimo. Non voglio sprecare parole, se non dire che è BELLISSIMO. Ho visto diversi swatches online, e tutte le volte era applicato da solo, ma, a dire il vero, io penso sia infinitamente meglio applicarlo sopra una base. Nell'immagine qui sotto potete vedere tre esperimenti (alla buona): il primo sopra una base cremosa nera, sopra un bianco perlato, e poi su un panna/beige (quello che poi ho scelto per questo post). Le ultime due immagini mostrano l'effetto duochrome sopra ad una base blu. 10+

ZOYA - MINKA

ENG: I cannot say very much about its quality, because it's so hot and warm these days, that any nail polish is hard to apply and to dry, so I have to postpone the review until the weather will be more clement, or maybe until the plumber will fix my air conditioner (soon, please!). -__- In the meanwhile I could say that this  polish is a cream/beige with a very slight shimmer that doesn't show off on nails, and it's the perfect mannequin shade for my skintone. :)

ITA: un nuovo arrivo e già l'ho varato con piacere! Sulla qualità non so dire molto, perchè fa talmente caldo in questi giorni che qualsiasi smalto è durissimo sia da stendere che da far asciugare, e quindi rimanderò la recensione di questo smalto ad un clima più favorevole, o magari quando aggiusteranno il condizionatore di casa mia. -__- Nel frattempo dico solo che è un panna/beige con un lieve shimmer quasi nulla visibile su unghie. La perfetta tinta mannequin per la mia carnagione. :)

SEPHORA - 68 DIVING IN MALAYSIA

ENG: alone is a dull gold with just a hint of duochrome effect, so it is a lot better using a black "underwear", as I did in the swatches above. Applicazione is very good, and the large and wide brush is amazing for perople who has large nails like me. It dries a bit slowly but it's very long lasting.

ITA: da solo è un oro spento e poco bicromatico, l'effetto più bello lo si ottiene con la mutanda nera sotto, come ho fatto io in questi swatches. Applicazione ottima, e, grazie al pennello largo e piatto, si stende da Dio se avete le unghie un po' larghe come le mie. Asciugatura un po' lentina, ma lunghissima durata!

Kiko - 640 Rosso Papavero

ENG: I have succumbed to another Kiko - Sugar Mat, this one is the perfect spring shade. Next one? Maybe 638 Taupe or maybe 643 Spring Green... But with no hurry ;)

ITA: ho ceduto ad un altro Kiko - Sugar Mat, questa volta è un colore super primaverile. Il prossimo? Forse il 638 - Tortora o forse il 643 Verde Primavera... Ma senza fretta ;)

ENG: there's no so much to say about this polish, because pics show off all its different looks and application was flawless: one coater (but I'm faithful to 2 coats, at least! :P), no need of clean-up, and no strange "fragrances" as its blue companion. Last thing: duration is quite affected of hot water. 

ITA: non c'è molto da dire perchè le foto mostrano già abbastanza i suoi diversi look, e l'applicazione è perfetta: una mano e via (ma io sono fedele a 2, almeno! :P), non c'è neanche bisogno di clean-up finale, e nessun strano "profumino" come il suo amico blu. Ultima cosa: la durata risente parecchio dell'acqua calda.

Twinsie Friday: Duochromes Hits Speciallita - Cool + A-England - Camelot

ENG: here we are with a new Duochrome Friday! This time I'm showing off to you a brazilian beauty from Hits - Speciallità, applied over a black lacquer. In this way you bring out reflections and colours, and you avoid the poor coverage, that's often a typical feature of duochromes. As usual, I'm not alone in this adventure, and you can find links to my polish-buddies's posts at the bottom of this post!

ITA: ed eccoci con un altro appuntamento del venerdì dedicato agli smalti duochrome! Questa volta porto un brasiliano della Hits - Speciallità sopra ad una base laccata nera, un po' per esaltarne i riflessi e i colori, e un po' per evitarne la non coprenza, carenza spesso tipica dei bicromatici. Come al solito, non sono sola in questa avventura, e alla fine del post trovate i links ai post delle altre smaltamiche! ;D

HITS SPECIALLITA' - MARI MOON - COOL

ENG: about its look you've seen enough, I think ;D About formulation there's something to say, instead, because it is not so amazing, I have to admit it: alone is sheer and  a bit uneven, but, on the other hand, over a black base there are no application problems. Plus, the brush was pretty mangy so I had to fix it before using it... But it's beautiful, at last, don't you think?

ITA: riguardo al suo aspetto avete visto abbastanza, penso ;D Riguardo alla qualità, invece, c'è qualcosa da dire, perchè non è eccezionale: da solo è un po' trasparente e disomogeneo, ma sopra una base nera non ci sono stati problemi di stesura. Inoltre il pennello è arrivato spelacchiato e, prima di usarlo, ho dovuto sistemarlo, perchè era inutilizzabile... Nonostante questo, alla fine, è bellissimo, vero?

Twinsie Friday: Duochrome Depend - 086

ENG: as I told you before (ctrl+c and ctrl+v is coming), I hate pink. I hate peach rose. And I hate the pearl finish. And, of course, you can't even imagine how much I hate pearly pink. So... What's wrong with me to buy a shade like this?!? Actually it's my friend Daniela's fault, since this was a gift for her, in the first time. Was. Sorry Dany, shame on me, but I'll buy another one for you in the future, because this evil shade is fucking amazing on nails!!! Keep an eye to my friend's posts at the bottom of this post!!! ;D

ITA: come avevo già scritto (copio-incollo), io odio il rosa. Se possibile, odio ancora di più il rosa pesca. E odio il finish perlato. Non potete neanche immaginare quanto io possa odiare un rosa perlato... Che razza di brutta malattia mi ha portato a mettere questo smalto nel cestino del male? Inizialmente la colpa è della mia amica Daniela, a cui volevo regalare questo smalto ma che, vergogna a me, glielo prenderò in un secondo momento, perchè questo me lo tengo, gne gne gne. Non so come sia possibile, ma... E' stupendo!!!  Date un'occhiata anche alle proposte delle mie smaltamiche: trovate i link alla fine del post! ;D

DEPEND - 086

ENG: it's very hard to catch the beauty of this polish: sometimes it's a very pale gold, sometimes a dull peach, sometimes both, but the pearliness is always the lead actress to make your nails like shells. Coverage is quite good: I did two tiny coats to define the edges and a generous third one to avoid brush strokes. By the way, strokes are not so obvious for a pearly shade. The brush didn't seem so good in the very first time, but the application was very precise in the end. Fast drying. Not so durable, but so beautiful! ;D

ITA: è difficile capire la bellezza di questo smalto: a volte è un oro pallidissimo, a volte un pesca spento, a volte entrambi, ma sempre e comunque la perlescenza la fa da padrona per far sembrare le unghie come conchiglie. La coprenza è piuttosto buona: ho dato due passate sottili per delineare la forma e poi una abbondante per far vedere meno le pennellate, ma, per essere uno smalto perlato, non si vedono molto comunque. Il pennellino non sembrava granchè, ma alla fine la stesura è filata precisissima. Asciugatura veloce. Durata un po' meno. Bellezza garantita! ;D

JULEP - LEAH

ENG: my first and only (so far) Julep nail polish comes from a swap. It's a light spring green with a slight silver shimmer inside of it. I thought it was sheer and watery, but not so much: it's decently covering. Pretty. :)

ITA: il mio primo e, per ora, unico smalto Julep viene da uno swap. E' un verde primavera chiaro con un lieve shimmer argentato. Temevo fosse sheer e acquoso, e invece no, è decentemente coprente. E' pucci. :)

W7 - 73 COSMIC GREEN

ENG: I bought this polish with Salt n Pepper and Lava Flow a few months ago. It contains toluene, so the smell is awful, but its beauty is  undeniable. It has a clear base with small rounded and hex turquoise, emerald green and gold glitters. And, of course, it sparks. It sparks a lot! Take a look at this video as .

ITA: ho preso questo smalto qualche mese fa insieme al Salt n Pepper e al Lava Flow. Contiene toluene, quindi l'odore è atroce, ma la sua bellezza è innegabile. Ha base trasparente con piccoli glitter quadrati ed esagonali in turchese, smeraldo e oro. E, ovviamente, brilla. Tanto! Guardate questo video come prova. 

ESSENCE - COLOUR & GO - 54 TRUST IN FASHION

ENG: a discontinued item that has a terrible formulation: it's streaky and it cannot be spread evenly, really a bad formula. Why I didn't throw away it? Because o the color, just for this reason, since it's a beautiful forest green with a hint of jade. And because it is quite useful for nail arts because it's very opaque.

ITA: è uno smalto fuori produzione e ha una formulazione pessima: striscioso e non omogeneo nella stesura, davvero una pessimissima qualità. Perchè non l'ho lanciato nella lettiera di Maya? Per il colore, solo per questo, perchè è un bellissimo verde fUresHta con un accenno di giada. E anche perchè, alla fin fine, torna utile per le nail art, visto che è molto coprente. Almeno un pregio diamoglielo, dai!
