Holothon: Hits Speciallita - Dionisio

ENG: I'm going to show you a nail polish borrowed by my cousin Barbara's (visit her blog, Nail Polis Crazy) again; as always, go to the bottom of this post for my friend's holo nail polishes! ;D

ITA: anche questa settimana, come quella passata, vi mostro uno smalto non mio, ma prestatomi da mia cugina Barbara (visitate il suo blog, Nail Polish Crazy), e, come sempre, andate in fondo a questo post per i link agli smalti holo delle mie amicicie! ;D

SPECIALLITA - HITS NO OLIMPO - DIONISIO

ENG: I must to admit that I'm a bit disappointed by this shade, especially about application. It has an almost jelly base, so you'll need of two generous layers of color, at least, with obvious conseguences: risk of bubbles,empty areas, and a very slow drying; the brush is a medium size wide one, but it was done not so well so application isn't very precise. Despite all of this, the polish is cute: it hasn't the deepness I was expecting from online swatches, but it's a peculiar purple, sometimes more violet, sometimes more blue. :)

ITA: devo dire che sono rimasta un po' delusa da questo smalto, su cui avevo aspettative altissime. Le mie rimostranze sono soprattutto sull'applicazione, perchè ha una base quasi jelly che rende necessario stendere almeno due strati di colore abbondanti, con conseguenti rischi di bolle e aree vuote, e sicura asciugatura lunghissima; inoltre il pennello è un po' piatto, e questo è bene, ma non è fatto benissimo, quindi la precisione non granchè. A parte questo, alla fine è carino: non ha la profondità di colore che vedevo in giro sugli swatches online, ma è un viola non banale, a volte più verso il violetto, a volte verso il blu. :)

Twinsie Friday: Duochromes Hits Speciallita - Cool + A-England - Camelot

ENG: here we are with a new Duochrome Friday! This time I'm showing off to you a brazilian beauty from Hits - Speciallità, applied over a black lacquer. In this way you bring out reflections and colours, and you avoid the poor coverage, that's often a typical feature of duochromes. As usual, I'm not alone in this adventure, and you can find links to my polish-buddies's posts at the bottom of this post!

ITA: ed eccoci con un altro appuntamento del venerdì dedicato agli smalti duochrome! Questa volta porto un brasiliano della Hits - Speciallità sopra ad una base laccata nera, un po' per esaltarne i riflessi e i colori, e un po' per evitarne la non coprenza, carenza spesso tipica dei bicromatici. Come al solito, non sono sola in questa avventura, e alla fine del post trovate i links ai post delle altre smaltamiche! ;D

ENG: most of time it look like this: gold and emerald with darker blue/teal edges with a slight mirror finish
ITA: il più delle volte è così: oro e smeraldo con bordi scuri blu/ottanio e un finish leggermente specchiato

ENG: duochrome effect that goes from gold to green to teal with darker edges
ITA: effetto bricromatico che va dall'oro al verde all'ottanio con bordi scuri

ENG: very bright almost-acid green and metallic finish
ITA: intensissimo verde quasi-acido con finish metallico

ENG: olive with metallic finish
ITA: verde oliva con finish metallico

ENG: almost a frost finish in a very pale emerald
ITA: un finish quasi frost per uno smeraldo pallidissimo

ENG: a light and bright greenish teal in an almost frost finish

ITA: un ottanio verdastro chiaro e luminoso con un finish quasi frost

ENG: an indefinite greyish colour with a hint of blue or green or whatever!

ITA: un colore indefinito grigiastro con un lieve accenno di blu o verde o quel-che-è!

ENG: have you seen how many faces it has? *_* / ITA: visto quante facce ha? *_*

HITS SPECIALLITA' - MARI MOON - COOL

ENG: about its look you've seen enough, I think ;D About formulation there's something to say, instead, because it is not so amazing, I have to admit it: alone is sheer and  a bit uneven, but, on the other hand, over a black base there are no application problems. Plus, the brush was pretty mangy so I had to fix it before using it... But it's beautiful, at last, don't you think?

ITA: riguardo al suo aspetto avete visto abbastanza, penso ;D Riguardo alla qualità, invece, c'è qualcosa da dire, perchè non è eccezionale: da solo è un po' trasparente e disomogeneo, ma sopra una base nera non ci sono stati problemi di stesura. Inoltre il pennello è arrivato spelacchiato e, prima di usarlo, ho dovuto sistemarlo, perchè era inutilizzabile... Nonostante questo, alla fine, è bellissimo, vero?

ENG: my first choice. So much holo, so much bright, so much... RED! Touching. :°)
ITA: la mia prima scelta. E' così tanto olografico, così tanto intenso, così tanto... ROSSO! Commovente. :°)

JADE - MAGIA NEGRA
ENG: what could I ask more from a black holo? Absolutely nothing!
ITA: cosa potrei mai chiedere di più da un olografico nero? Ma proprio niente!

JADE - MYSTIC GOLD
ENG: I didn't choose this one in the first place, but swatches made me realize I was wrong. Beautiful!
ITA: non l'avevo scelto all'inizio, poi gli swatches in giro mi han fatto capire che sbagliavo. Bellissimo!

HITS - COOL

ENG: this polish is not so unique these months, since I guess any brand released a shade like this, but the Speciallita / Hits version is my favorite: opaque, intense and extremely metallic!

ITA: questo smalto non è poi così unico in questi mesi, visto che quasi ogni brand ne ha rilasciato uno simile, credo; ma la versione della Speciallita / Hits è il mio preferito: coprente, intenso ed estremamente metallico!

RIVKA - CARRIE
ENG: this one was an extra from the swapper. I'm not a pink type, but this one is stunning!!!
ITA: questo è un regalino extra dalla swapper. Non sono una fan del rosa, ma questo è stupendo!!!
