ENG: I forgot to post this baby! Poor baby... I bought it at Sirene Blu months ago, I've already posted its little bro, but then I forgot this one in the drawer... Poor poor baby... ç_ç

ITA: piccolino, mi ero dimenticato di lui! Ho preso questo smalto da Sirene Blu mesi e mesi fa, ho postato da mo' l'altro che ho comprato insieme a lui, e lui, invece, è finito dimenticato nel cassettino, poverello. ç_ç

MAX FACTOR - MAX EFFECT - 44 GRAFFITI

ENG: when Max Effect polishes have been released in Italy, this was my first choice. Teal = ♥ However, the formula of this one is not so exciting, unlike Odyssey Blue. I have 3 complaints about it: poor coverage, poor brilliance without a top coat and the neverending drying. If you want to enjoy the beauty of this shade you need of a colored base, a transparent gloss and very very much patience. More, the hint of violet duochrome effect in the bottle remains in the bottle. But it's still a very nice shade, in the end. Yes, it is! :)

ITA: quando sono arrivati i Max Effect qui, questo smalto è stata la mia prima scelta. Ottanio = ♥ Devo dire, però, che la sua formulazione non mi ha fatta impazzire, a differenza di Odyssey Blue. Ho tre lamentele su di lui: poco coprente, poco brillante senza top coat e asciugatura infinita. Inoltre, l'accenno bicromatico viola in boccetta resta solo nella boccetta. A parte queste cose, aggirabili con una mutandaTM sotto, un po' di top coat e tanta tanta pazienza, direi che è decisamente carino. Sì, lo è, alla fin fine, dai! :)

Max Factor - Max Effect 43 - Odyssey Blue

ENG: sorry for the absence, but I can't blog so much these weeks. Soooooo, a quick post for a nail polish I bought months ago and swatched past October. 

ITA: scusate per l'assenza, ma non riesco molto a bloggare in queste settimane. Eeeeeeee quindi, un post veloce veloce per uno smalto acquistato mesi fa e swatchato lo scorso ottobre.

MAX FACTOR - MAX EFFECT 43 - ODYSSEY BLUE

ENG: this polish was a big surprise as soon as I've applied it: I thought it was a top coat effect, so I was quite sure it was sheer and needed of a colored base. But nooo! It's pretty opaque and beautiful alone, as you can see from the pictures above. I'm enchanted by this shade and I have just an only negative thing to say about it: it dries very slow!

ITA: questo smalto è stata una grande sorpresa appena applicato, perchè pensavo fosse un top coat ad effetto, e che quindi sarebbe stato piuttosto traslucido e avrebbe avuto bisogno di una base colorata sotto, e invece nooo! E' piuttosto coprente e bellissimo anche da solo, come potete vedere dalle immagini qui sopra. Sono incantata da questa tonalità e ho solo una cosa negativa da dire su di lui: asciuga in ere geologiche!

Max Factor - Fantasy Fire + Pupa - 712 Navy Blue + Essence - Matt Top Coat

ENG: let's not waste time talking and give space to this layering. ;)

ITA: non sprechiamo tempo in ciance e diamo subito spazio alle immagini di questo layering. ;)

ENG: but... If you mattify this? Noooot bad at all...

ITA: maaaa... E se lo mattifichiamo? Niente ma niente ma proprio niente male...

- PUPA - 712 NAVY BLUE

ENG: a dusty blue I love a lot! It's a wonderful shade that changes pretty much its intensity from indoor to outdoor. Actually it's a little bit on the thick side, but one-coater, auto-level and long long lasting.

ITA: un blu polvere che adoro! E' una tinta splendida, la cui intensità cambia notevolmente se siete all'aperto o in casa. Un po' denso, a dir la verità, ma ne basta una sola passata, è autolivellante e a lunghissima durata.

- MAX FACTOR - FANTASY FIRE

ENG: step by step: if you wear it alone it is a sheer periwinkle jelly with tons and tons of fuchsia microsparkles that go on yellow/green if you see it from the side (but the duochrome effect is very slight). If you wear it over a blue base (like me in this post) you'll obtain a quite visible multichrome effect, as you can see in the pics above. In the end, if you wear it over a black base, you'll see an enchanting bright red and gold and green sparkle. I've already spoken about it in this comparison VS BeYu - Brilliant Shiraz and the biggest difference between them is that BS is more sparkling, but FF has the strongest duochrome effect. 

ITA: un passo alla volta: se stendete questo smalto da solo, lo vedrete come un jelly pervinca traslucido strapieno di microparticelle riflettenti fucsia che tendono al giallo/verde in controluce (ma l'effetto bicromatico è molto lieve). Se lo indossate invece sopra una base blu (come me in questo post), otterrete un ben più evidente effetto multicromatico, come potete vedere nelle immagini qui sopra. Infine, se lo applicate sopra uno smalto nero, avrete un incantevole strato di brillantissimo shimmer rosso, dorato e verde. Ho già parlato di queste cose in questo confronto con il BeYu - Brilliant Shiraz e la più grande differenza tra i due è che il BS è molto più sbrilluccicoso, mentre il FF ha il maggiore effetto duochrome.

ITA: ho preso questa belessa 3/4/5 mesi fa (memoria! questa sconosciuta!) alle Sirene Blu vicino casa mia. Ancora, però, non riesco a decidermi se spalmarlo da solo o sopra una base colorata...

ENG: teal teal teal... When I see teals my brain goes on tilt... Bought this one with the previous polish and still admiring without wearing. Shame on me. XD
ITA: ottanio ottanio ottanio... Io quando vedo ottanio mi va il cervello in patacca... Ho comprato questo smalto insieme all'altro qui sopra, ma los to ancora ammirando senza usarlo, che vergogna, XD

ENG: last, but not least, of this trio, is the more than famous Fantasy Fire, gifted to me from my friend Angela. It's enchanting! *__* Both the polish and the friend, of course ;D

ITA: ultimo ma non certo ultimo, il più che famigerato Fantasy Fire, regalatomi dalla mia amicicia Angela. E' incantevole! *__* Sia lo smalto che Angeluzzola, of course ;D

- NOUBA - 454: 
ENG: *sigh* this beauty is a wonderful multicolored flakies in clear base from an Italian brand called Nouba, I can find in Sirene Blu drugstores. I bought _ALL_ the flakies from the display (even from the nex restock XD) for 3 or 4 swaps, then I picked up even for me...
ITA: *sospiro* questa delizia del creato è un meraviglioso top coat flakies multicolore su base trasparente della Nouba, un marchio italianissimo che io trovo alle Sirene Blu. Ho preso _TUTTI_ i flakies di questa collezione che c'erano nell'espositore (anche al successivo restock XD) per 3 o 4 scambi con alcune smaltamiche. Alla fine mi sono decisa a prenderne uno anche per me, eccheccaspio! ;D

- LAYLA - CERAMIC EFFECT - 54 GREEN GALAXY:
ENG: I love this polish! Big hex and small round green glitter in a black jelly base quite opaque! Beautiful! *_* Need my nails grow again to swatch it better.
ITA: amo questo smalto! Ha una base jelly verde scurissima quasi nera e piuttosto coprente con glitter verdi grandi esagonali e piccoli rotondi! Bellissimo! *_* Ho bisogno che le mie unghie crescano un po' per swatcharlo, però, adesso sono ridotte all'osso.

BeYu - 209 Brilliant Shiraz + Firewind - Velvet Navy + Comparison VS Max Factor - Fantasy Fire

This layering is made with one of the tons of "dupes" of the famous Clarins - 230 over a dark blue base. Mine is from BeYu and was gifted to me by my friend Daniela. Pics show my hands under different lights with different reactions of this amazing polish, but all of them are very real about what you can see when you wear it, except for the sparkle, in real it is totally crazy!!!!

Lovely combo, don't you think? 

● FAIRWIND - VELVET NAVY
This polish come from a brand I've found on Schlecker stores in a collection made of matte and satin finishes. Actually the color (a very dark and dusty blue) is pretty and the hidden shimmer is interesting (if you use a top coat you can see it, of course, despite it dries satin), but application is nothing special and seems very boring on my nails, so I used it as base for layerings.

● BEYU - 209 BRILLIANT SHIRAZ (INCI 31)

Ahw! This polish is something... Ahw!!! If you wear it alone is a sheer red jelly with a insanely ammount of microsparkles that go on yellow and green if you see it from the side (but the duochrome effect is not so noticeable as other polishes of this type, and it's more evident in the shadow than in the full light). If you wear it over a dark blue base (like me in this post) you'll obtain a shimmer version of Nfu.Oh - 51; then, if you wear it over a black base, you'll see a crazy red sparkle that you can't stop to stare at all day long. I swear it. Pics show the real color, but I couldn't catch the real sparkling, it's really really really... SPARKLING!

COMPARISON:
BeYu - Brilliant Shiraz VS Max Factor - Fantasy Fire

As you can see, they are not dupes at all. The most obvious difference is when you wear them alone, but they are slightly different over a black base: BeYu has much more red particles than Max factor, but MF has a lot more duochrome effect than its cousin. You can see it better in the second pic. In case you wear them over a dark blue base they are dupes, just in that case! :)

What could I say more? If you prefer the sparkle, absolutely you should to buy the BeYu; if you are searching for the duochrome effect more than everything else, catch up the Max Factor with no doubts. But both is the best choice, by my point of view. :P
