The Rainbow Ladies #5 - BLUE
China Glaze - Sea Spray + Milani - Cyberspace + gradient

THE RAINBOW CHALLENGE BY THE RAINBOW LADIES!

ENG: it's passed the first half of this Rainbow Challenge, and this time the leading actor is BLUE, but I preferred to choose a more delicate sky blue. I made another gradient, but I must to take advantage by the fact that my nails don't breaking since a bit of time, so... A gradient again. Don't you think this manicure has some kind of sugary look? Scroll down for my companion's list of links! ;D

CHINA GLAZE - ANCHORS AWAY COLLECTION - SEA SPRAY
ENG: this is a dusty sky blue with a very slight shimmer (not visibile on nails, by the way) that I love a lot: one coater, flawless application, more than decent duration, a discreet color for all seasons... Great!
Grandioso!
MILANI - HOLOGRAPHIC 3D COLLECTION - CYBERSPACE
ENG: I'm pretty sure this is one of the first nail polishes I bought from US, so many memories... :°) This is a holo and silver microglitter in a very delicate pastel sky blue shade. The holo reflection is not so obvious at the very first glance, but I think it's a sweet polish that pays back the lack.
PURE ICE - PLATINUM MAGIC BASE COAT from kit VINYL REMIX ART IN MOTION
ENG: my usual white creme to use as base for nail arts. ;P
ITA: la mia solita crema bianca da usare come base per nail art. ;P

Nail Art: Olympics Mani

A fast post: there are more than a dozen of manis to post before this one, but I need to post this nail art before the Olympics fever was gone! :P
First of all, sorry for the quality of this image: my camera is dead after 9 years of wonderful duty (R.I.P. Canon A80, I loved you very much ç__ç) and I absolutely have no money to buy another one as I would, so I photographed several manis with my old cellphone (the new cellphone is broken, too, but in this case just I don't care to have a new phone) and this is the result, sorry. Anyway few days ago a friend of mine borrowed me his old Canon A630, and I'm doing decent photos again. :)
Ok, you don't care about this stuff, so "join" the pic below, hope you can understand what I did, it was quite pretty but this is the most I could to show you off it. :P
Polishes I've used:
● KIKO - 329
Amazing grey creme, almost one coat, auto-levelling, nothing more to say. :P
● MILANI - RED SPARKLE
Previously used for a scotch tape nail art and reviewed HERE
● MILANI - BLUE FLASH
Already used for a layering mani and reviewed HERE
● MILANI GOLD GLITZ
Swatched and reviewed in the past HERE
● MILANI - SILVER DAZZLE
Swatched and reviewed in the past HERE
● L.A. COLORS - ART DECO - GREEN GLITTER
A bright green glitter with nail art brush. Nothing more to say. :P

TOTALLY RANDOM SUNDAY #17

HAULS
CHERRY CULTURE SALES (6 MONTHS AGO :P)
Usually I don't thrust to order from American webstores, because the Italian custom fees and frequently missing packages... But I was totally in love with a polish quite hard to find, and I tried anyway as soon as I've seen the sales. A friend of mine and my cousin added something for them, so this haul pics are not entirely mine.
- Milani - One Coat Glitter collection: I already own 4 of them, but my cousin was crazy for them since I made her this scotch tape mani and her life couldn't keep going without them! :D
- L.A. Girl - Rock Star collection: for my friend Daniela, who has chosen a lovely selection from this lovely collection *_*
- L.A. Girl - Rock Star - Addict: such a wonderful mix of gold and orange and red sparkles into this bottle, charming!
- L.A. Girl - Rock Star - Punk: an amazing bright and deep blue with tons of sparkle and a hint of purple.
- L.A. Girl - Rock Star - Groupie: the opposite of the nail polish above, an amazing bright and deep purple with tons of sparkle and a hint of blue. ;P
- NYX - Girls Nail Polish - Emerald Forest: another purchase for Dany. I already own this polish and I totally love it, it sparkles insanely! :D I' ve already swatched it HERE!
- LASplash - Midnight Rain: finally my lemming!!! Since the first time I've seen it from Alizarine Claws I fell in love with it, but it was always out of stock. As soon as I could... Mine mine mine mine!!! I've already wore it three times and I'll post the swatches very soon! This is my only experience with LASplash nail polishes, do you know this brand better than me? What's the quality of other polishes from this brand? Please, let me know! :)
That's all for this week. See ya! ^__^/

Milani - Red Sparkle + Essence - Black Out + scotch tape

I'm not able to choose from the bunch of pics I made to this mani: eight images is as less as I can. I hope you'll like it, I hope you'll love these polishes as I do, and I hope you'll try this funny and classy at the same time design with scotch tape. I was inspired from 2 blogs: The Posh Polish who catched my attention proposing sparkly tips using a polish I own and I love in this post, and my usual scotch-tape muse Nailside who made it in a lovely marine style on this entry.

MILANI - ONE COAT GLITTER - 521 RED SPARKLE
This is the last polish I own from this Milani collection and I say again that it's another success. I have no more words for these amazing really-almost-one coat glitters, and pics speak by themselves. Sparkly is not enough for them, and the saturation of the color is so high in this red shade that camera had many difficulties about catch it, as you can see in few photos. As i wrote before, the final surface is rough, so you'll need for a generous ammount of top coat if you are searching for a gloss finish. A pain in the ass to remove, but you could avoid this pain with a long hot bath, probably the polish will go away as a decal after that. Only for this kind of polish this is a gift of God, you'll make it easily if you'll apply a thick coat of base-coat at the beginning of your mani. ;)
ESSENCE - BLACK AND WHITE LE - 01 BLACK OUT
Love love love this black polish. It's a slightly satin finish, almost matte, and the formula is very good. Perfect as base, since it's very opaque in just one coat, this time I used two coats to work better on the edge. It's getting thick but some drops of thinner will fix everything, but a good shake before polishing any single nail was enough for now. The matte finish was good, but I added a matte top coat more! :P
● ESSENCE - MATT TOP COAT
I'm really impressed from this top coat in a very good way! Just... It will be discontinued within  few days... Luckily I have 3 bottles (I bought a one more right this morning) in my stash.

Milani - Blue Flash + China Glaze - Fairy Dust

Short nails need to switch the attention of viewers, and what's better than crazy glitters to confusing people?

MILANI - ONE COAT GLITTER - 523 BLUE FLASH
This is the third polish from this Milani collection I swatched and this is another big win. I have no more words for these amazing really-almost-one coat glitters, and pics speak by themselves. Sparkly is not enough for them. As i wrote before, the final surface is rough, so you'll need for a generous ammount of top coat if you are searching for a gloss finish. A pain in the ass to remove, but you could avoid this pain with a long hot bath, probably the polish will go away as a decal after that. Only in this case this is a gift of God. :D
CHINA GLAZE - FAIRY DUST
I really love this top coat. It's a simple top coat with holo glitters, but they are so sparkly and tiny that any polish reborns under it! Anyway Blue Flash is already a lot sparkly by itself, but Fairy Dust gives a hint of color more.

Milani - Gold Glitz + stickers

When I became addicted to nail polish (not so much time ago, actually...) I said: "But I like ONLY no flashy colors, are you insane?". First of all, I don't know who I was speaking to, secondly, HAHAHAHAHA AHAHAHHAH! Oh God, let me take a breathe. AHAHAHHAHAAHH AAHHAAHAHA. Oh Jesus *crying*... *laughing*... *coughing*... So funny! XD

MILANI - ONE COAT GLITTER - 525 GOLD GLITZ
Oh! Beauty of creation! God bless the postman who brought you to the door of my house! Your yellow and red glitter! Your splendor! Your everything! Thank you for existing in my same world! Is it too hot today and I'm bullshitting? Yes! But nooo, you are awesome, gold glitz, fucking awesome! :D

Nail Art: glitter stripes with scotch tape

My cousin took advantage of me during her last vacancy and I made her this nail art using the scotch tape technique, the habitat of Nailside and Chloe, my scotch tape muses! My cousin was veeeery happy for this and she told me couldn't help but stare at them at the beach, in and out of the water, and this thing has given me an idea, useful for the future... Maybe... I have a question for european readers: do you know a store where I can buy Milani polishes for her?

Milani - Dot Com

This comes from a Makeupalley swap. First time I saw this nail polish I fell in love with it, but I don't know the reason. Then it came to me and I have received it coldly, but I don't know the reason. Finally one day I decided to try it. First coat: perplex. Second coat: love again! I suffered when I had to remove it... But this time I knew the reason, it's special! ;)

MILANI - DOTCOM
This polish is simple and complicated at same time. It's simple because it's pretty elegant and discreet, but there's an elaborate finish behind this alleged simplicity: the base is a dusty dark purple jelly mixed with gold shimmer, but I think the shimmer is more like mini-mini flakies. Beautiful, anyway. I guess it's should be awesome mattified, I'll surely try in this way the next time!

Milani - Hi-Tech

Another amazing Makeupalley swap!

MILANI - 3D HOLOGRAPHIC - HI-TECH
This polish has a lighter holo effect than Nfu.Ohs or China Glaze OMG Collection, but it's still stunning, especially in the sunlight. I used a ridge filler as base, since this polish is a bit sheer; and then I applied the Nfu.Oh - Aqua Base to enhance the holo effect. The result is very good, I guess.

Milani - Silver Dazzle

Another US purchase, another polish from my wish list, another win! ;D
This polish is from Milani - One Coat Glitter line, and I couldn't rexist to other of them, so I have this one, and Milani - red sparkle, and Milani - blue flash and Milani - gold glitz. I miss only Milani - purple gleam, but I already have enough purples (AHAHAHAHAHAH polishes are NEVER enough!)

And a short video indoor

MILANI - ONE COAT GLITTER - SILVER DAZZLE
It's ALMOST one coat glitter, but the coverage is surprising for a glitter polish. The final surface is rough, so, you'll need for a generous ammount of top coat if you are searching for a gloss finish. But I also like rough. Ok, no one asked me, but who cares? :P Color is very classy, I think: a charcoal that goes from silver, to grey, to black, depends by light. What else? Long last! It's also useful if you don't have much time to manis: you could put this glitter polish, 3 days after you'll add a coat and go in this way for months! XD
Of course, a pain in the ass to remove. Your patience will improve very much after that experience. *hugs*

My english is worse than usual, sorry, but it's damned hot out there and I'm feeling as a chinese dumpling! I'm evaporating. Adios!
