ENG: there's no much to say about these water decals, but they are very stilish and unusual. I combined them with four different nail polishes: dark orange, slightly greyish teal, dark fuchsia and acid green, more I had fun cutting the decals in an unique way for each nail.
ITA: non  c'è molto da dire su questi water decals, se non che li trovo stilosissimi e diversi dal solito. Ho voluto abbinarci colori complementari in linea con le tinte degli adesivi: arancione scuro, ottanio leggermente grigiato, fucsia scuro e verde acido, e mi sono divertita a tagliare i decals tutti in modo diverso.

Holothon: Catherine Arley - 806 + Basic Beauty - 119

ENG: this polish is a bit (lot) sheer, so I decided to use a colored base, and my choice is a bricktoned orange: the color of the base is close to the holo one, but it's darker, so the holo effect can be deeper in the end, since it is quite sweet all alone. I cannot say if this is a scattered holo or a microglitter one, maybe none of them, because the reflection doesn't show off all colours from the prismatic spectrum... By the way, I like it very much even in this way and i think it matches quite well with my complexion. Yes, yes, I like it a lot!

ITA: premetto subito che, essendo un (bel) po' sheer, ho usato una mutandaTM, in questo caso la base colorata è un arancio mattone: ho voluto scegliere un colore molto simile, ma di tonalità più scura, per dare maggiore profondità ai riflessi olografici, che sono piuttosto blandi. Non saprei dire se questo sia uno scattered o un microglitter olografico, o forse neanche quello, perchè le particelle non riflettono tutto lo spettro prismatico, ma solo alcuni colori... Ad ogni modo a me è piaciuto un sacco anche così, e, sorprendentemente, mi piace anche come sta sulla mia carnagione. Sìsì, devo dire che mi piace proprio!

ENG: this one is maybe my favorite from this collection, because its variety of shades: there's a orange jelly base with multicolor glitters that go from silver to gold to orange. It's really a vitaminic polish!

ITA: è probabilmente il mio preferito in questa collezione, grazie alla varietà di sfumature che possiede: c'è una base jelly arancione con glitter multicolor argento, oro e arancio. E' davvero uno smalto vitaminico!

BASIC BEAUTY BY LIMONI - 119 ARANCIO GHIACCIOLO

ENG: in the beginning I bought this one because it seemed to me very close to OPI - Ginger Bells, a lemming of mine, and I'm pretty sure to have thought right. I was also very lucky, because this creme has an a-m-a-z-i-n-g formula: perfect coverage in one coat, perfect leveling in two coats, extremely longevous. A+

ITA: inizialmente ho preso questo smalto perchè mi sembrava molto simile all'OPI - Ginger Bells, che era nella mia wishlist, e sono piuttosto certa di averci visto giusto. Sono stata anche molto fortunata, perchè questo smalto cremoso ha una formula e-c-c-e-z-i-o-n-a-l-e: copertura perfetta in solo una mano di colore, livellamento perfetto in due mani (ma se mettete un buon top coat non serve), e durata eccellente. 10+

ENG: This is another of those nail arts I did this summer when my camera was broken, so the quality is not so good. First and fourth pics are better than the 2 ones in the middle, because I took advantage of my cousin's cellphone, that isn't as big as a British Red Box, like my phone... :P By the way, another sponge gradient that came pretty well, made with summery colors! You can find my previous mint/teal gradient here.

ITA: Questa è un'altra delle nail arts che ho fatto st'estate quando la mia fotocamera era distrutta. Lo è ancora, ma almeno adesso ne ho una in prestito in sostituzione. La prima e la quarta foto sono molto migliori delle due centrali perchè le ho fatte approfittando del cellulare di mia cugina, che non è una cabina telefonica dell'anteguerra come il mio... :P Un'altra sponge gradient che mi pare sia uscita piuttosto bene, fatta tutta con colori super estivi! ENG: For this nail art I've used 3 cremes from [b]basic, the brand of Schlecker drugstores. I know this chain of stores is changing its owners and they are deciding which products will remains and which ones are going to be eliminated from their stores. I'm crossing my fingers for [b]basic, because is the cheapest brand in my country for cosmetics but still quite good about quality. Mini polishes are amazing. Pray with me! >_<

ITA: Per questa nail art ho usato tre creme della [b]basic, la marca venduta nei negozi Schlecker. Ho saputo che la Schlecker sta cambiando proprietari e in questo periodo stanno decidendo quali prodotti tenere e quali altri eliminare dai loro punti vendita. Incrocio le dita per la [b]basic, perchè produce gli smalti più economici che si possano trovare qui in Italia e sono comunque di qualità più che buona.  >_<

ENG: a simple yellow creme, the classic EGG color! :D It's not so easy to apply, but this is not unusual for a yellow polish, however the final result is good, at last. Be generous with your top coat, just in case!
ITA: una crema giallo UUUuuovo!!! XD Non è tanto facile da stendere, come del resto un po' tutti i gialli, ma, "con due mani e un po' di mano" il risultato è buono, alla fine. Siate generose con il top coat, eventualmente!
● [B]BASIC - REF. 5502 16
ENG: a basic orange creme easier to apply than the previous polish, opaque in two coats and very bright.
ITA: una semplice crema arancio più comoda da applicare del suo amico qua sopra, coprente in due passate e di una tonalità molto brillante.
● [B]BASIC - REF. 5502 11
ENG: a true red that dries pretty fast and darker than it looks like in the bottle, especially if you do 3 coats instead of 2. Average coverage, average smoothness, average polish that I love with average affection! :D
ITA: un rosso-rosso che asciuga piuttosto in fretta e di un tono più scuro rispetto a come si vede in bottiglia, specialmente se preferite mettere tre mani piuttosto che soltanto due. Coprenza media, si uniforma mediamente (meglio aggiungere top coat glossy). Insomma, un buono smalto medio! :D

Nail Art: glitter stripes with scotch tape

My cousin took advantage of me during her last vacancy and I made her this nail art using the scotch tape technique, the habitat of Nailside and Chloe, my scotch tape muses! My cousin was veeeery happy for this and she told me couldn't help but stare at them at the beach, in and out of the water, and this thing has given me an idea, useful for the future... Maybe... I have a question for european readers: do you know a store where I can buy Milani polishes for her?

Pastels Skittles!

I was always saying to myself to make a pastel mani, and always I didn't. Why? I should go out with this every day!!! I suffered a bit when I had my remover pads on my hands. ç_ç

● CHINA GLAZE - LIGHT AS AIR - THUMB
I love the entire Up & Away collection, inspired by one of my favourite movies ♥ More, I love pastels when they are so delicate like this pale lilac. Sweet but still no sugary. I absolutely advice this polish.
● COLOR CLUB - TAKE ME TO YOUR CHATEAU - INDEX
One of the best formula I ever tried! Opaque in just 1 coat, you will be able to apply this polish without any effort and with precision. It's not so "famous" as polish, and I guess it's absolutely underestimated. This is very long last, but less than other polishes. Amazing, really!
● CHINA GLAZE - LEMONFIZZ - MIDDLE
Copy/paste review from Light as Air :P and add: this one is very long last polish.
● ESSENCE - MULTI DIMENSION - 70 MAKES ME WEAK - RING
This shade is very delicate and I like it a lot, but the application is not good as its color: it was a bit tricky, so I had to use a lot of polish for the best result. I also caught a brush flawed... Bad brush could be the reason for bad application? Maybe... Lucky me! XD A good news: very long lasting polish.
● CHINA GLAZE - RE-FRESH MINT - PINKIE
Copy/paste review from Light as Air :P and add: this polish starts to be a bit thick after one year, but it's still enough easy to apply. Another long lasting polish.

OPI - The Show Must Go On!

Only for no shy people :P

● OPI - THE SHOW MUST GO ON!

From OPI's Burlesque Collection, this duochrome polish is pretty similar to MAC - bad fairy, but this one has a lighter duchrome effect. By the way, it's still very pretty. Sometimes pink (especially in the sunlight), sometimes red with orange reflection (usually in the shadow and indirect light), this is a no discreet color, not at all! Wear it and people will stare your nails... Formula is very good, but I advice absolutely a top-coat for more glossiness: in this way the microglitter will shine A LOT!

Essie - + Tart Deco + Essence - Makes me Weak + stamping

A fast daily konadicure for summer!

On the middle finger:

● ESSIE - TART DECO

As I wrote here, I usually don't buy polishes from brands who aren't cruelty free, but this was a gift from a friend of mine, so I can't do anything for it. Anyway... The polish! It has a good formula and the color is pretty peculiar, but still pretty. I guess this would be perfect for dark and tanned skins.

On other nails:

● ESSENCE - MULTI DIMENSION - 70 MAKES ME WEAK

This shade is very delicate and I like it a lot, but the formula of this polish is not so good: the application was a bit tricky, so I had to use a lot of polish for the best result. I also caught a brush flawed... Bad brush could be the reason for bad application? Maybe... Lucky me! XD

● STAMPING - BUNDLE MONSTER BM19

Crackle time!

My first crackle experiment. I was waiting for so long for it! :D

● ESSENCE - NAIL ART CRACKING TOP COAT STEP 2 - BLACK

I'm not so into this type of crackle, because I prefer the finest way to crackling, for example the Kelier polishes or the new KleanColor crackles, but I've wanted to try them anyway and I'm pretty happy for this choice.

The 1st and 2nd pics are on my natural nails, and the crackle polish was applied over pastel cremes. In the 1st photo I put a tiny coat of crackle, and the result resambles to bamboo... Too tiny... The second one was a thicker coat applied slower and the result was better than before.

The 3rd and 4th pics are on false tips, and the crackle polish was applied over rough glitters. I absolutely prefer this option: the roughness crackled the top coat more irregularly and it allows me to apply a more generous layer.

China Glaze - Ick-a-Body

I won this polish from a giveaway on Beautopia blog: the price was China Glaze - Awakening Collection for Halloween 2010, in this entry. The first polish I've tried is Zombie Zest, the next is this Ick-a-Body, Mummy May I was gifted to my cousin (so I haven't it anymore) and I'm using Fast Forward top-coat since I've received it. P.S. a pain in the ass to remove è_é

Beautiful name and beautiful polish, but it's a pain in the ass to remove... 15 minutes for each hand... -__- Next time I'll use a black base and I'll apply only 1 or 2 veeeeery tiny coats. By the way, still stunning! Pretty pretty pretty!
