Born Pretty - Water Decals Artistic Vortex Pattern

ENG: another post for a Born Pretty item: amazing water decals with a 60's style!

BORN PRETTY - WD ARTISTIC VORTEX PATTERN XF1262
CODE ITEM: # 15193 - LINK TO BUY IT: click me!
ENG: there's no much to say about these water decals, but they are very stilish and unusual. I combined them with four different nail polishes: dark orange, slightly greyish teal, dark fuchsia and acid green, more I had fun cutting the decals in an unique way for each nail.

ENG: there's a 10% off coupon for you!  Coupon Code 10%: JVG10

Holothon: Catherine Arley - 806 + Basic Beauty - 119

ENG: an old purchase that I put aside for this Holothon! This shade was bought for me by a friend of mine, Simona from Light Your Nails blog on a Bulgarian online store: Beauty Cosmetic. :)

CATHERINE ARLEY - 806
ENG: this polish is a bit (lot) sheer, so I decided to use a colored base, and my choice is a bricktoned orange: the color of the base is close to the holo one, but it's darker, so the holo effect can be deeper in the end, since it is quite sweet all alone. I cannot say if this is a scattered holo or a microglitter one, maybe none of them, because the reflection doesn't show off all colours from the prismatic spectrum... By the way, I like it very much even in this way and i think it matches quite well with my complexion. Yes, yes, I like it a lot!

BASIC BEAUTY BY LIMONI - 119
ENG: I love this bricktoned orange: it's a one coater, flawless application, very long lasting, great!
ITA: adoro questo arancio mattone cremoso: one coater, fluido, lunga durata, grandioso!

The Rainbow Ladies #2 - ORANGE
Shaka - G2 Joy + Basic Beauty - 119 + fimo

THE RAINBOW CHALLENGE BY THE RAINBOW LADIES!

ENG: secondo colour of the rainbow is ORANGE, and this time I've taken the weekly topic... Literally! Scroll down to glance at my friend's posts! ;D

SHAKA - WINTER PARTY GLITTERS COLLECTION - G2 JOY
ENG: this one is maybe my favorite from this collection, because its variety of shades: there's a orange jelly base with multicolor glitters that go from silver to gold to orange. It's really a vitaminic polish!
BASIC BEAUTY BY LIMONI - 119 ARANCIO GHIACCIOLO
ENG: in the beginning I bought this one because it seemed to me very close to OPI - Ginger Bells, a lemming of mine, and I'm pretty sure to have thought right. I was also very lucky, because this creme has an a-m-a-z-i-n-g formula: perfect coverage in one coat, perfect leveling in two coats, extremely longevous. A+

Basic Beauty by Limoni - 103

Another hidden treasure from this Italian brand, that's the official cosmetic brand for Limoni Profumerie. They started with a poor range of colours and now you cannot keep track of all of them! My favorites are definitely the foils, that are all dupes of Zoyas, even in quality! ;D

A blurred image to let you see the golden sparkle better

Warning: pic below has not been photoshopped to emphasize the color,
it was just taken in a different light and in a different season, 3 months after pics above!

- BASIC BEAUTY BY LIMONI - 103
I'll go immediately to the point: this is a perfect dupe of Zoya - Apple, with no differences in coverage, application, reflections, whatever... A friend of mine owns the Zoya one and did a false tip for me with the swatch: I'm not going to post comparisons between them, because they are exactly the same, I can swear on it with no doubts at all!
Said this, I'll go with the obvious description of the polish: it's a green apple foil with tons of golden and green shimmer; application is not difficult at all and you can stop to the second coat, but a third one is better; duration is amazing, almost a week with no cheaps; and sparkle is simply wow. I'm sure you need of it. No one will blame you for this. That's all! XD

TOTALLY RANDOM SUNDAY #16

HAULS
FEW NEW ITALIAN NAIL POLISHES! *^__^*

Two gifts from my lovely cousin who always thinks of me when she feels guilty for having bought too many nail polishes for herself! XD

- Basic Beauty by Limoni - 103: it's totally a dupe of Zoya - Apple, it's totally beautiful, it's totally great quality, it totally became one of my favorite polish ever!

- Basic Beauty by Limoni - I-don't-remember-the-number-right-now: another (almost) dupe of a Zoya one, I think it's pretty close to Zoya - Rica. What do you think about it?

- Deborah - Pret a Porter - 52 jungle adventure: a lonely purchase made a day I was very sad and I needed for (another) olive. I'm quite satisfied from it, but I need to test it better.
KIKO AGAIN!

- Kiko - Full Coverage Concealer - 01 clear
- Kiko - Full Coverage Concealer - 03 medium
Maybe I eventually found _MY_ concealers: they are really full coverage, creamy and non-comedogenic (is the right word in english?) and they last almost all day long. Since I'm using these concealers (the lightest for pimples and highlight and the darkest for under-eyes) I can avoid to use fluid foundations: they cover enough to apply my pseudo-mineral foundation from ELF, yay! Never without them and I'll surely buy the 04 for summer! ;)

- KIKO - Lip Base Primer: a try. A try gone very well, anyway. This primer has the purpose to neutralize the pigmentation of lips, or most of it, so you can better enjoy the color of your lipstick and create a customized edge with no messing up. It works, it's just a bit sticky when you close the mouth, but not so much, I'm happy for this product, great value.
- KIKO - Eye Base Primer: no pics, but a wonderful opinion for this products, it's perfect for my wrinkled eyelids, because it's creamy and fills very well imperfections. Also long lasting for my eyeshadows. Great, really.

I have an indecent ammount of pics for next weeks: a swap with a friend of mine, Simona from Light your Nails! blog; few Essence purchases, and a HUGE swap with the lovely Julie from U.S.

TOTALLY RANDOM SUNDAY #4

HAULS
NAIL POLISHES FROM ITALIAN BRANDS!
I have no job during these months, as I've often written, so I can buy just a few of polishes, but, actually, my Helmer is half full and I don't feel the desire for many new shades, anymore. Dupes is not my way, although I have some, and I'm very happy and proud of my collection, but I don't want to cross the line of common sense. BUT! A little gift to myself is necessary to survive! ;P
- ASTRA - ITALIAN ROMANTIC COLOURS - 48
I promised to not buy Astra polishes again because I was no satisfied from their quality, but I fell in love in front of this beauty 1 month ago, and, luckily, the formula is more than decent. Yay!
- BASIC BEAUTY - 119 - ARANCIO GHIACCIOLO
I bought this one almost 2 months ago 'cause it reminded me a lot to OPI - Ginger Bells, a lemming of mine, and I'm very happy to have taken it. Creamy, opaque, rusty... I like it.
- KIKO - 354 - CONSTELLATION PURPLE
From the new Light Impulse limited edition, I refuse to comment the name for this nail polishes line: "Hologram (?????) Nail Lacquer". Ok. Let's go on. :P By the way this GLASS FLECKS is enchanting, pretty sheer but beautiful. Not unique, but who cares?
- KIKO - 223 - RAME PERLATO
This polish was on sale at €1,50 1 month ago and I couldn't resist to try it, even it's a very old and uncool shade, but it could match well with my skintone. Cross my fingers.
- EVER - 16 VIOLA FASHION
A gift from my cousin, this is a kind of glitter I didn't own, yet, and I'm very charmed from: worms glitters! Cuuuuuuute! *^__^*
- ESSENCE - VAMPIRE?S LOVE - 01 GOLD OLD BUFFY
A friend of mine bought for me 2 items from the new Vampire's Love limited edition: the eyeshadows palette and the light grey with few black microglitters nail polish, but I don't remember its name right now. :P Anyway I went to OVS 2 days ago and also luckily found this one lovely golden/olive/black miniflakies. ^_^/
- ESSENCE - FORGET IT! 3 IN 1 CONCEALER
I'm a total newbie about makeup, so I'm trying few products to experiment different colors and textures with the purpose to find what suits better with my skin. For this reason I bought this trio of concelear, especially very useful to learn how to use the green and the pink. In the future I also would to try a light blue and lilac concelear. ^__^

A fruitful afternoon! *__*

Some months ago I found the blog of Chloe and I fell in love with scotch tape technique, then... Few days ago... I discovered the "scotch tape technique 2.0", on Nailside. This girl is my weekly/monthly/annual/indefinitely idol, my newest muse, my recent illumination! She's creative and still simple, original but not excessive, and I guess I'll steal a lot of ideas from her, changing colors or something or who-knows... The first one is this mani, a mix of what she calls "laser mani" and "mummy mani", and, if you want to try, here there are her tutorials. Have fun like me!!! Thank you Jane! ;D
P.S. off topic: first of all I should change this standard layout... I'm so lazy recently... -__-

I used a lot of polishes, you can find each of them in the list below. For any single finger I wrote as first the base, and the top polish as second one.

Basic Beauty - 46 + Sinful Colors - Sugar Sugar

This time I've really dared... I'm not the red polish type at all, but I wanted to try anyway...
And...? I have to admit it: I gloated.

BASIC BEAUTY - NR.46
A dark creamy red. Nothing more. Nothing less. BB is the official Limoni Profumerie cosmetic line, and I have to admit these polishes have a very good formula. Promoted!
SINFUL COLORS - 839 SUGAR SUGAR
Let's think a bit together... They aren't exactly dupes, but this polish is very close to the famous China Glaze - ruby pumps. Ok? Ok. I applied a darker red under it, and the result is very close to another famous polish, China Glaze - stroll. Ok? Ok. So... Isn't it great? No? Gh. ç__ç

Basic Beauty - 35 + Zoya - Trixie + stamping

What should I do on a rainy sunday afternoon? Another konadicure, of course! ;P

BASIC BEAUTY - NR.35
I usually don't like so much reds, neither pinks, so usually I don't like the mix of reds and pinks: magentas! By the way... I'm re-evaluating this color! ;D
More, I didn't know this brand, that's the official Limoni Profumerie cosmetic line, and I have to admit these polishes have a veeeeeeery good formula. Promoted!
ZOYA - TRIXIE
One of my favorite polish, perfect alone, perfect mixed with other shades, perfect for stamping, perfect and stop! It has a lot of dupes, for example Orly - shine. I don't know the quality for dupes, since I haven't got them, but the Zoya one is very good and opaque with 2 tiny coats!
STAMPING - BUNDLE MONSTER BM12
You can buy this image plate from Bundle Monster official site. I really love this design, and I guess it could be used with a lot of different styles and colors. I've added rhinestones, too.
