ENG: there was a lot of time since I wished to buy a set of stickers with playing cards symbols, and this collaboration was the perfect chance to try them. I'm always in pain when I have to apply water decals, because of my lack of patience, but in the end I often enjoy to cut the decals to create an unusual combination with them. :D

ITA: era una vita che volevo prendere degli stickers con i semi delle carte da gioco, ma per un motivo o per l'altro rimandavo sempre. Approfittando dell'offerta di collaborazione, mi sono decisa a sceglierli. Ho sempre un po' di difficoltà con i water decals, perchè non ho così tanta pazienza da posizionare ogni singolo adesivo, ma alla fine mi ci diverto a tagliuzzarli per adattarli in modo che non siano il classico "ti poggio qua e ciao" :D

Mi-Ny - 106 Second Skin

ENG: Mi-Ny Cosmetics on this blog again, and I'm not going to apologize for this at all! I bought this nail polish at the brand store in Udine, and then I've used it to attend to the "Be Glamour with Mi-Ny" contest on their facebook page. I also won with the pic the Jury Prize. Lucky polish? Nah, "just" beautiful! ;D 

ITA: ancora Mi-Ny Cosmetics sul blog, e non ho intenzione di chiedere scusa per la monotonia! Ho preso questo smalto nel loro negozio di Udine. L'ho usato per partecipare al concorso "Be Glamour with Mi-Ny" sulla loro pagina facebook e ci ho anche vinto il Premio Giuria. Smalto fortunato? No, "solo" bello! ;D

  MI-NY - GLAM LACQUER - 106 SECOND SKIN

ENG: in my humble opinion this is a very feminine and sophisticated nail polish, with some kind of a gothic look, but still suitable on formal events. The colour is what I term as "the Bogie colour" from a China Glaze item that I love a lot, that's a shade between burgundy and eggplant. Finish is also peculiar, since it's a bit shimmer and a bit frost; about formula there's no much to say except that application is flowing and precise but slow in drying; duration is excellent, I've worn this polish for a whole week with no chips.

ITA: é uno smalto, a mio parere, molto raffinato e femminile, dal gusto un po' gotico, ma in una declinazione adattissima anche ad occasioni formali. Ha quel colore che io chiamo "il color Bogie", dal nome di uno smalto China Glaze che adoro, ovvero una tinta indefinita tra il bordeaux e il melanzanai. Anche il finish è difficile da catalogare, stando a metà strada tra lo shimmer e il frost; riguardo la formulazione niente da eccepire, eccetto una certa lentezza nell'asciugatura in profondità, ma l'applicazione è fluida, veloce e precisissima; la durata, infine, è eccellente, ho tenuto questo smalto una settimana intera.

Holothon: Mi-Ny - 251 I love Seul

ITA: la scorsa settimana ho saltato l'Holothon, e anche oggi rischiavo di non farcela, ma eccomi qui. Al volo, però. Gh. :P Come sempre, per vedere le proposte delle mie amiche, andate in fondo a questo post! ;D

MI-NY - 251 I LOVE SEUL

ENG: this polish reminds me a lot to another one I love a lot, China Glaze - Bogie: it's a shimmer-almost-frost and has a burgundy-almost-eggplant base like it. Mi-Ny has holo glitters more: some small and rounded, and some in stripes/strings shape, but sometimes I think this polish is so gorgeous and classy by itself and it doesn't need of any addiction. By the way, probably nothing seems "too much" on longer nails than mines, I must to be honest. I was forgetting about duration: this nail polish lasts a lot: I worn it for a whole week with just a few and very slight chips!

ITA: il colore e il finish ricordano moltissimo un altro smalto che ho e che adoro, il China Glaze - Bogie: come lui è uno shimmer-quasi-frost su base bordeaux-quasi-melanzana, ma il Mi-Ny ha in più dei piccoli glitter olografici rotondi ed altri "a vermino" che, se devo essere sincera, sotto alcune luci penso siano un po' superflui, perchè lo smalto sarebbe già splendido e di classe senza ulteriori aggiunte. Probabilmente con unghie più lunghe delle mie questo non sarebbe neanche un problema, però, sarò sincera. Dimenticavo che dura un boato: una settimana intera andando al mare e alla fine avevo pochissime lievi scheggiature!

Holothon: Glitter Gal - Belgian Chocolate

ENG: another twinsie saga with my polish buddies: the duochrome one is ended and it's  time for a new project, this time it's dedicated to holographic nail polishes, for a holo summer full of reflection!
I'm goint to start with a beautiful Australian shade from Glitter Gal: it was in my wishlist since the first time I've seen it on another blog, and I was waiting for a brown holo since ever. I'd have preferred a colder brown, but this one is still gorgeous! I bought it from a French webstore called Atouts Charme.

ITA: ancora un'altra iniziativa con le mie instancabili (loro, mica io!) smaltamiche! Finita la saga dei duochrome (a cui io ho partecipato un po' a singhiozzo, a dire il vero...), si riparte con quella degli olografici!
Come primo post comincio con uno smalto australiano della Glitter Gal: era nella mia wishlist dalla prima volta in cui l'ho visto su un blog, e aspettavo un holo marrone da secoli. Puntavo ad un marrone più freddo, ma anche questo è meraviglioso, non gli si può dire niente! L'ho preso dal sito francese Atouts Charme.

GLITTER GAL - BELGIAN CHOCOLATE

ENG: I've swatched this nail polish a couple of months ago, but I remember very well my disappointment about the formula. Pigmentation is poor: you need of 3 coats for a full coverage and a deepness of color like pics above. Application is not a dream, neither: strokes can drag away the color of the previous coat, leaving empty areas. I had to do 2 tiny coats to define the edges, then I waited for a complete dry, and just then I applied the final coat, paying attention to not push the brush too much. You also need of a generous amount of top coat to avoid loss of glossiness. By the way, the final result is so beautiful that I forgive it!

ITA: ho swatchato questo smalto ormai un paio di mesi fa, ma ricordo molto bene la delusione per la sua formulazione. La pigmentazione è un po' scarsina: è più sheer di quanto pensassi e bisogna arrivare anche a tre mani di colore per avere una coprenza perfetta e un colore intenso come nelle foto qui sopra. Anche la stesura non è il massimo, perchè spennellando lascia aree vuote da trascinamento del colore dello strato precedente: ho risolto facendo due strati sottilissimi per dare la forma e poi, dopo aver aspettato che fosse completamente asciutto, ho dato una terza mano abbondante ma con delicatezza, senza premere il pennellino sull'unghia. Ci è anche voluto un generoso strato di top coat per non farlo opacizzare dopo qualche ora. Vabbeh, alla fine il risultato è così bello che gli perdono tutto, dai!

Kiko - 640 Rosso Papavero

ENG: I have succumbed to another Kiko - Sugar Mat, this one is the perfect spring shade. Next one? Maybe 638 Taupe or maybe 643 Spring Green... But with no hurry ;)

ITA: ho ceduto ad un altro Kiko - Sugar Mat, questa volta è un colore super primaverile. Il prossimo? Forse il 638 - Tortora o forse il 643 Verde Primavera... Ma senza fretta ;)

KIKO - SUGAR MAT - 640 ROSSO PAPAVERO / POPPY RED

ENG: there's no so much to say about this polish, because pics show off all its different looks and application was flawless: one coater (but I'm faithful to 2 coats, at least! :P), no need of clean-up, and no strange "fragrances" as its blue companion. Last thing: duration is quite affected of hot water. 

ITA: non c'è molto da dire perchè le foto mostrano già abbastanza i suoi diversi look, e l'applicazione è perfetta: una mano e via (ma io sono fedele a 2, almeno! :P), non c'è neanche bisogno di clean-up finale, e nessun strano "profumino" come il suo amico blu. Ultima cosa: la durata risente parecchio dell'acqua calda.

CHRESY - NIGHT COLLECTION - 715

ENG: from one of my favorite super cheap brands, I recently discovered this beauty. It's not so unique, I know, but whatever. It's a shimmer warm red with a slight green reflection, great application, two coater (better three, by the way), more than decent duration and stunning darker edges. Love it!

ITA: una belessa che ho scoperto di recente da uno dei miei marchi super ecomomici preferiti. Non è il più unico degli smalti, lo so, ma chissene. E' un rosso caldo shimmer con un lievissimo riflesso verde (quasi mai visibile), ottima applicazione, due mani (meglio tre, comunque), durata più che decente e un effetto di ombre scure ai lati stupendo. Lo amo!

ESSENCE - MATT TOP COAT

ENG: I'm really impressed from this top coat and it's my faithful little helper very often! ;D

ENG: as I already said, this is my personal "final red". Creamy but not thick, the application is perfect and the color is plenty of... Red, of course! ;D

ITA: come già detto in precedenza, questo è il mio "rosso definitivo". Cremoso ma non denso, la sua applicazione è perfetta e il colore è intriso di... Rosso, ovviamOnte! ;D

SHAKA - WINTER PARTY GLITTERS COLLECTION - G1 PASSION

ENG: a light jelly base with silver glitters inside of it for this enchanting shade. It's enchanting because it has some kind of fairy feeling. Maybe I'm babbling, but... It's enchanting, indeed! *^_^*

ITA: un rosso chiaro con base jelly e dentro dei glitter argento per questo incantevole smalto. Incantevole, sì, perchè ha un che di quasi fiabesco. Forse sto blaterando, ma... E' incantevole davvero! *^_^*

Jade - Vermelho Surreal + Pure Ice - Platinum Magic Base Coat + stamping + rhinestones

ENG: this is my xmas manicure for this year. Nothing so original, I know that, but I like it very much anyway, especially thanks to this awesome red holo polish from Brazil that fits perfectly with the Christmas spirit. The stamping was made with Konad - Image Plate M64.

ITA: questa è stata la mia manicure natalizia per quest'anno. Niente di così originale, ma comunque mi piace un sacco, grazie soprattutto a questo meraviglioso olografico rosso proveniente dal Brasile che calza perfettamente con lo spirito natalizio. Lo stamping è stato invece fatto con il Konad - Image Plate M64.

JADE - VERMELHO SURREAL 

ENG: I'll surely I won't need of another red linear holo polish, since this one is the perfection for this combo of color and finish. The most exceptional thing of it is the deepness of the color, it really seems three-dimensional and nails look more curved than they actually are. You can be hypnotized from it, be careful! Application given to me no problems, but I used a smoothing base coat anyway, because the polish contains toluene, so the formula is thin and I wanted to avoid noticeable nails imperfections. Duration is pretty good for a linear holo and I had the first chipping on tips only the third day. 

ITA: mi sa che non cercherò più un olografico linear rosso, visto che questo è la perfezione per questa combinazione di colore e finish. La caratteristica migliore di questo smalto è la sua profondità di colore: sembra davvero tridimensionale e le unghie appaiono più curvate di quanto lo siano realmente. Fate attenzione, si può restarne ipnotizzati! L'applicazione non mi ha dato problemi, ma ho usato lo stesso una base levigante: lo smalto contiene toluene e quindi la formula è abbastanza liquida e sottile, quindi ho voluto evitare si vedessero le imperfezioni delle unghie sottostanti. La durata è più che buona per un holo linear: ho avuto le prime sceggiature alle punte appena il terzo giorno.

ENG: I needed of a good white creme, and a swapper sent me this one. I confirm my first impression about the very good quality of this nail polish, and I'll use it any time I'll need of a white base for nail arts. ;D

ITA: avevo bisogno di una buona crema bianca, e una ragazza con cui ho fatto uno scambio mi ha spedito questo. Confermo la mia prima impressione sulla buona qualità di questo smalto, e penso che lo userò ogni volta che avrò bisogno di una base bianca per nail art. ;D

Kiko -. 316 Viola Rosso

ENG: this polish is one of my choices from summer sale at Kiko store. I needed of high quality cremes and I didn't own a shade like this (I know it is hard to believe... I know it... XD), so I decided to take advantage from the €2,50 each promotion. ^__^

ITA: questo smalto è una delle mie scelte in occasione dei saldi estivi al negozio Kiko. Avevo bisogno di creme/lacche di buona qualità e mi mancava un colore come questo (è dura da credere, lo so... XD), così ho approfittato dell'offertona a €2,50 l'uno. ^__^

KIKO - 316 VIOLA ROSSO

ENG: I can just say great things about this beauty: the shade is intense, the application is flawless and one coater, the finish is glossy, and it's also long lasting... A must-have by my point of view. I've worn it the past summer and it did bubbles, but I've tried again a few weeks ago and everything went fine, so I'm sure the reason was just the summer warm!

ITA: ho solo splendide parole per questa beleSSa: la tonalità è intensa, l'applicazione fluida e perfetta, coprente in una mano, estremamente lucido e "bombato", e anche di lunga durata... Per conto mio è da avere. L'ho messo quest'estate e ha fatto delle bollicine, ma ho ritentato qualche settimana fa ed è andato tutto bene senza problemi, quindi posso dire con certezza che la ragione era solo la calura estiva!

W7 - Salt n Pepper + W7 - Lava Flow

ENG: I fell in love for these polishes since the first time I've seen them on another blog, because glitters are not huge and not shiny, so they are something different from usual glitter shades. The final effect is like a sandwich manicure, so... Why not?

ITA: mi sono innamorata di questi due smalti dalla prima volta in cui li ho intravisti in un altro blog, perchè i glitter non sono giganti e non scintillantemente accecanti. Erano qualcosa di diverso dal solito smalto glitterato, e l'effetto finale era quasi come una sandwich manicure. Quindi... Perchè no? ;D

W7 - SALT N PEPPER
ENG: a white creme as base and small hex mat glitters in dark blue inside of it. Simple, but genius.
ITA: crema bianca come base e, dentro ad essa, glitter blu scuro opaco esagonali. Semplice, ma geniale.

W7 - LAVA FLOW
ENG: cream white as base again, but the hex glitters are mat black and metallic red. Still simple, still genius.
ITA: ancora base bianca, ma i glitter esagonali stavolta sono nero opaco e rosso metallico. Ancora semplice, eppure ancora geniale.

Chresy - 040 Bordeaux Perlato

ENG: I've already said that sometimes drugstores give amazing surprises, and I've also already said that one of them is Chresy polishes! You can find a review of mine of another polish I love from this brand in this post. Keep an eye on it, it's like having a xmas tree on nails! ;D

ITA: come ho già detto tempo fa, qualche volta i drugstore danno grandi soddisfazioni, e ho anche già detto che una di queste sono senza dubbio gli smalti della Chresy! Potete trovare una mia recensione di un altro smalto di questo marchio in questo post. Buttateci un occhio, è come un albero di Natale su unghie! ;D

CHRESY - 040 BORDEAUX PERLATO

ENG: maybe this isn't the most unique colour in the world, and not the most peculiar finish you can find out there, but ladies... It worths a lot more of €1! Application is flawless, precise, opaque, it's a frost with no strokes, no chipping for 3 days... There are not so many polishes that REALLY offer you so much!
ITA: forse non sarà il colore più unico del cosmo, nè quello col finish più particolare, ma signorine... Vale molto più di €1! L'applicazione è perfetta, precisa, coprente, è uno smalto frost ma senza pennellate visibili, punte intatte per 3 giorni... Non ci sono poi così tanti smalti là fuori che vi offrono DAVVERO tutto questo!
