Holothon: Layla - Flash Black

ENG: a super fast Holothon: it's too hot these days to write anything before my thoughts evaporate... Sooooo, super super fastly, I'm going to show you a nail polish borrowed by my cousin Barbara's (visit her blog, Nail Polis Crazy), and go at the bottom of this post for my friend's links! ;D

ENG: in the shadow / ITA: in ombra

ENG: a short video / ITA: un breve video
LAYLA - HOLOGRAM EFFECT - FLASH BLACK
ENG: this polish has a light charcoal base and a strong linear holo effect. With "strong" I mean... "STRONG"! Pics above have been taken under bulblight, and the holo effect is even more stunning under sunlight! Application is very hard without a proper smoothing base (I've used the Nfu-Oh - Aqua Base) and it isn't so durable (just one whole day with no cheaps, if you're lucky), but it's still a great polish. *__*

Holothon: Glitter Gal - Belgian Chocolate

ENG: another twinsie saga with my polish buddies: the duochrome one is ended and it's  time for a new project, this time it's dedicated to holographic nail polishes, for a holo summer full of reflection!
I'm goint to start with a beautiful Australian shade from Glitter Gal: it was in my wishlist since the first time I've seen it on another blog, and I was waiting for a brown holo since ever. I'd have preferred a colder brown, but this one is still gorgeous! I bought it from a French webstore called Atouts Charme.
If you scroll at the bottom of this post, you'll find links to my friends's swatches! :D

GLITTER GAL - BELGIAN CHOCOLATE
ENG: I've swatched this nail polish a couple of months ago, but I remember very well my disappointment about the formula. Pigmentation is poor: you need of 3 coats for a full coverage and a deepness of color like pics above. Application is not a dream, neither: strokes can drag away the color of the previous coat, leaving empty areas. I had to do 2 tiny coats to define the edges, then I waited for a complete dry, and just then I applied the final coat, paying attention to not push the brush too much. You also need of a generous amount of top coat to avoid loss of glossiness. By the way, the final result is so beautiful that I forgive it!

Jade - Magia Negra

ENG: I made this manicure in December 2012. Finally I can post it and show off to you this beauty!!! I've already swatched Vermelho Surreal and Mystic Gold from the same collection, and this one is the last Jade holo I own. Sigh. So beautiful. So special. So. ç_ç
Sigh. Così bellizzimo. Così specializzimo. Così cosizzimo. ç_ç

ENG: and two short videos! / ITA: e due brevi video!

JADE - HOLOGRAFICO - MAGIA NEGRA
ENG: I've already said the same thing for the red and the gold holos from this collection, so I'm going to be repetitive, but I must to talk about its deepness. More, the application is very easy, duration is pretty good for a linear holo, and the shade is crazily intense and the color is an actual black!

Jade - Mystic Gold + Mi-Ny - Graffiti Top - Be Black

ENG: I made this manicure 3 months ago, more or less... In December I did some carpentry so my nails were more than short, I'm sorry for these pics. ç__ç
And a short video: / E un breve video:

JADE - MYSTIC GOLD
ENG: in the beginning I wasn't sure to choose this polish, because "pure golds" usually don't fit so well with my skintone, then... I just couldn't. The deepness of this nail polish is amazing, I think this is its best feature. Application was very good, and duration is pretty good for a linear holo.
MI-NY - GRAFFITI TOP - BE BLACK
ENG: this is the first black shatter that I really like, especially because it's very workable. I'm surprised.

ENG: and don't forget the RAINBOW CHALLENGE next Thursday the last date! ç_ç

Milani - Blue Flash + China Glaze - Fairy Dust

Short nails need to switch the attention of viewers, and what's better than crazy glitters to confusing people?

Indoor

Indoor unfocused to see better the glitters

A short video indoor

A short video outdoor

MILANI - ONE COAT GLITTER - 523 BLUE FLASH
This is the third polish from this Milani collection I swatched and this is another big win. I have no more words for these amazing really-almost-one coat glitters, and pics speak by themselves. Sparkly is not enough for them. As i wrote before, the final surface is rough, so you'll need for a generous ammount of top coat if you are searching for a gloss finish. A pain in the ass to remove, but you could avoid this pain with a long hot bath, probably the polish will go away as a decal after that. Only in this case this is a gift of God. :D
CHINA GLAZE - FAIRY DUST
I really love this top coat. It's a simple top coat with holo glitters, but they are so sparkly and tiny that any polish reborns under it! Anyway Blue Flash is already a lot sparkly by itself, but Fairy Dust gives a hint of color more.

Zoya - Faye + Vampy Varnish "Share Yourself #1" event

I wore this polish the 10th of august, but I had to wait before posting about it, why? Because I attended a new amazing idea launched by Kelly of Vampy Varnish blog. This contest/event/both will present any month  few bloggers with a selection of 1 or 2 images (unpublished before), sent to Kelly by mail. She will consider all entries received and she will show some of them in her blog after the 20th of any month. The great idea is called Share Yourself and you can find the rules here.
What all this has to do with me and the Zoya polish swatched? Well... I submitted to Share Yourself and I had to wait until the entry with results was posted, because those images had to never seen before in the web. Anyway, Kelly choose my photos and I was in the Share Yourself vol. 1 selection!!! YAY!!!!! I know this isn't a big deal in the life, I know I'm not a little girl anymore, but... I have to admit it: I was really excited to see my pics in her blog for many reasons I can't explain because I'm an extroverted person, but I'm very bad about thanks, compliments and this kind of stuff... I'm bad to receiving them, too! Just... Thank you to Kelly, she made my day, my week and maybe she made my entire month, this is my best way to express my joy with this media. If I knew her in everyday life, she could see my happiness by my 856 teeth smile in this moment. Thank you. Again. ;D

Then... The polish swatched hereunder! I received this polish for my bday as gift: Daniela made me this cute surprise and, although I'm not into pinks (pink is my cryptonite!!! D: ), this one is amazing, anyway, and I'm sooooo happy to own it and I'm sooooo grateful to Dany for this wonderful gift! ^___^

And a short video... P.S.: no, I don't live in a doghouse! ^__^;
ZOYA - FAYE
This polish has many faces: it's pink in the sunlight (but a tolerable pink LOL) and it's almost copper in the evenings and it's a mix of both indoor, and it's beautiful anytime. Moreover it looks like a suede in the shadow and sparkles a lot under the light and and... And it's simply beautiful. Did I already mentioned the gold flakes? No? There are. And they are beautiful, of course. You (yes, YOU!) need this polish, I know it!!! :D

Orly - Lunar Eclipse + Sinful Colors - Frenzy

Last monday I was a bit nervous for a TAC scan I had to undergo on tuesday, so I needed for a strong manicure, and Lunar Eclipse appeared in front of me... :D

And a short video

ORLY - LUNAR ECLIPSE
A blue jelly base studded with tons of sparkly blue shimmer and blurple micro glitters. Sparkly and electric: this combination is a bomb!
SINFUL COLORS - FRENZY
Small fuchsia and electric blue glitter over a clear base. Glitters are quite a lot, but if you want to wear it alone, I guess you should use several coats, I think 3 or 4, at least... Good luck! :D

Milani - Silver Dazzle

Another US purchase, another polish from my wish list, another win! ;D
This polish is from Milani - One Coat Glitter line, and I couldn't rexist to other of them, so I have this one, and Milani - red sparkle, and Milani - blue flash and Milani - gold glitz. I miss only Milani - purple gleam, but I already have enough purples (AHAHAHAHAHAH polishes are NEVER enough!)

And a short video indoor

MILANI - ONE COAT GLITTER - SILVER DAZZLE
It's ALMOST one coat glitter, but the coverage is surprising for a glitter polish. The final surface is rough, so, you'll need for a generous ammount of top coat if you are searching for a gloss finish. But I also like rough. Ok, no one asked me, but who cares? :P Color is very classy, I think: a charcoal that goes from silver, to grey, to black, depends by light. What else? Long last! It's also useful if you don't have much time to manis: you could put this glitter polish, 3 days after you'll add a coat and go in this way for months! XD
Of course, a pain in the ass to remove. Your patience will improve very much after that experience. *hugs*

My english is worse than usual, sorry, but it's damned hot out there and I'm feeling as a chinese dumpling! I'm evaporating. Adios!

OPI - DS Extravagance

This polish comes from my US haul bought for me by a friend of mine some months ago. Usually I'm not so into pinks or fuchsias, but this one catched my attention anyway. And when I've tried it: love at first sight. Perfection doesn't exist, but sometimes we are close to it.

In the shade

In the sunlight

In the bulblight

And a short video outdoor

OPI - DS EXTRAVAGANCE
This is my first and only polish from OPI's Designer Series but I would any single shade from this collection if quality was the same as this one! Amazing. Really, amazing. There's nothing wrong in this polish: coverage, durability, application, deepness, brush, a tons of little holo glitters and a bare holo effect... It has only one lack: doesn't make coffee, but this is the only one!

China Glaze - Mistletoe Kisses + OPI - Jade in the new Black + stickers

I love greens, I guess is the color most underrated for manis.

A short video in the sunlight

CHINA GLAZE - MISTLETOE KISSES
I'm totally obsessed with green glitters, but this one could also suit for not green lovers. It has a delicate shade and it's translucent, so you can wear it alone or over other polishes, so the effect can be lighter or darker. I absolutely advice this polish, absolutely! P.S. it sparkles A LOT! X°D
OPI - JADE IS THE NEW BLACK
My first OPI! I'm going to say same things again today, but I'm totally into this polish: amazing shade, amazing formula, amazing duration, everything in this polish is amazing.
STICKERS
I don't remember the brand of these decals, sorry.

China Glaze - Ick-a-Body

I won this polish from a giveaway on Beautopia blog: the price was China Glaze - Awakening Collection for Halloween 2010, in this entry. The first polish I've tried is Zombie Zest, the next is this Ick-a-Body, Mummy May I was gifted to my cousin (so I haven't it anymore) and I'm using Fast Forward top-coat since I've received it. P.S. a pain in the ass to remove è_é

And a short video. ^_^

CHINA GLAZE - ICK-A-BODY
Beautiful name and beautiful polish, but it's a pain in the ass to remove... 15 minutes for each hand... -__- Next time I'll use a black base and I'll apply only 1 or 2 veeeeery tiny coats. By the way, still stunning! Pretty pretty pretty!

Dior - Czarina Gold + China Glaze - Fairy Dust

When I saw this Dior limited edition polish, I couldn't rexist and I put it in my shopping bag. So beautiful ç___ç P.S. I paid for it, eh! By the way, I'm feeling a bit guilty for this polish: is Dior a cruelty free brand? I guess it isn't, and I wouldn't buy those brands. >___<

Pics 1-2 show Czarina Gold alone and 4-5-6 with Fairy Dust as top coat.

And a short video with an episode with  LOST in the background! ^__^;

 ● CHRISTIAN DIOR - 916 CZARINA GOLD
Love at first sight! When I've made this pic the sun was missing, so the color doesn't see brightly... By the way, it's a very dark coffee base with a subtle shimmer. Shimmer is gold/olive, it reminds me a little to China Glaze - wagon trail, MAC - seriously hip or Color Club - with abandon.
The better thing is the brush: short, large and tough. I applied the polish easily, and you need 2 coats for full opacity and a third one for shimmer deepness. It doesn't need for a shiny top-coat, and I guess should be wonderful with a matte top-coat.
CHINA GLAZE - FAIRY DUST
I really love this top coat. It's a simple top coat with holographic glitters, but they are so sparkly and tiny that any polish reborns under it!

China Glaze - Atlantis

When My friend Angela went to USA, we we have plundered 8ty8beauty, one of the best online polish store. The service isn't fast, it's WARP; the catalogue is huge; and prices are a dream. International fees are very expensive, so we made use of the trip to save a lot of money and buying a lot of polishes! YAY!

Video is a bit unfocused to see the holo glitter effect better! ^__^

CHINA GLAZE - ATLANTIS
How much pretty is this pretty polish?!?!? IT'S PRETTY PRETTY, INFACT! I was hoping it was more opaque, but I have so many colors suited for it that this isn't a problem at all. Holo glitters are always beautiful, but they become special under artificial lights. They seem a sparkling starry sky, but more colorful, a lot more colorful! A polish for special days, when you need to feel yourself special, too. ;)

Nfu.Oh - 61 + Color Club - Revvvolution + stamping

No need for logical words this time. ♥___♥

Holos need for video, too. This is unavoidable!
The second one has italian X-Factor on background, sorry! XD

And another video with italian X-Factor in the background! XD

NFU.OH - 61
My presssSSSsssshhhous silver holo! Just one thing, an important thing, more: always use the Nfu.Oh - Aqua Base under holo polishes, but pay attention to hot water and warm vapors if you use this base with no-Nfu.Oh holos, because enamel could go away as a decal! *wooosh away* LOL
COLOR CLUB - REVVVOLUTION
Holo effect is barely, but this "black" polish is great however, and perfect for stamping. Perfect!!!
STAMPING - KONAD M20
You can buy this image plate from Konad Stamping Nail Art official site.
